I'm surprised they don't have a date after which the food should be discarded. I mean, don't get me wrong, I eat food after the 'best before' or 'use by date' (UK), but I think even I'd be worried by stuff that was 10+ years old. Especially as I could be eating an MRE in a remote place away from medical assistance. Anyway, that's what I think.

Awesome review brother. Older IMPs are always fascinating. Glad the condition was still good. To be honest though I'd be pretty disappointed if I got stuck with this main lol. Baked beans just aren't a meal in my mind.
Pretty fun to watch, I started to get into these with 2017 menus onward, neat to see the evolution. Canadian IMPs are the best. The bread looks pretty cool. I don't think much has changed to the newer Baked Beans Breakfast aside from. Different hot sauce, newer spork.. I like that the old ones have the salt and pepper. Did I miss something or was there a compressed napkin in this? Toothpick is a good touch too - and the Worthers Original. Very great meal!!

I have felt off/stomach upset or discomfort for sure. I always follow strict rules of look, smell, and taste. It is always a risk but can always reduce the chance.

Oldest ones I have tried were from the 1990's.
There is always a risk but my curiosity always drives me to try them!

It was interesting that they encouraged trading mains when in American MRE they discourage it due to nutritional need.

No compressed napkin in this menu. I think they recently added 2016 or 2017s and that is an awesome item to have outdoors for clean up.

That is one of the big things I notice is the feedback is heard and they adjust. Which is really cool.
