On the floating, shapeless oceans I did all my best to smile til your singing eyes and fingers drew me loving into your eyes. And you sang "Sail to me, sail to me; Let me enfold you." Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you. Did I dream you dreamed about me? Were you here when I was full sail? Now my foolish boat is leaning, broken love lost on your rocks. For you sang, "Touch me not, touch me not, come back tomorrow." Oh my heart, oh my heart shies from the sorrow. I'm as puzzled as a newborn child. I'm as riddled as the tide. Should I stand amid the breakers? Or shall I lie with death my bride? Hear me sing: "Swim to me, swim to me, let me enfold you." "Here I am. Here I am, waiting to hold you."
They're different styles of singing...that's an unfair comparison....of course Frazer's voice is utterly amazing but she probably worked on ot as all great singers do..im not sure Ellie has had any vocal lessons or training or even self taught vocal education and vocal training
Great song
Yet another good version of this wonderful song
Nice! Everything fits together perfectly. The whole vibe is there...
Wow. That was a lot of work and a great result. I intended to listen to the song but found myself watching your visuals instead. Good choice
Great band
That moved me to tears 💕
Only Tim Buckley and Liz Frazer do this song justice but Ellie's version is an excellent effort.
Atonement is a great film too.

Beautiful
Me conmovió la canción y la escena final, él caminando por un campo de amapolas... tan representativas de los caídos en la guerra.
Brilliantly done 😢😢😢
omg this is so beautiful🥺
Better than the original? Maybe. Anyway I always loved This mortal coil. Nice to see the song revived again😀
very well done
Perfect fit
00:38 come back, come back to me.
Lovely biscuits gorgeous lady 🥰
i like music jajaja hola XD
what is the name of the movie?
Atonement
Elizabeth Fraser.
Well, it's no Elizabeth Fraser.....
So what's the critism for... it's a beautiful version
@@abusedbyyou5482 What criticism?
I made an observation.
I like this cover.
@@andy2950 gosh sounded like critism...a little bit
it’s unfair to compare literally any singer to someone as unique as Liz
Ellie’s great and she sang this beautifully
