Understanding the crosstalk between the RNA and protein worlds is key for unraveling the characteristics of RNA-protein interactions in cellular systems.This webinar introduces two unique multiomics methodologies recently developed by Eneko Villanueva, PhD, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge.Explore the use of these methodologies in the generation of the first system-wide quantitative map of RNA and protein subcellular localization!
The first part of the talk dives into the methods and the group’s findings. The method is now being applied to different cell types and a comprehensive localization database was built and will be expanded to aid the advance of localization studies.
The second part of the talk briefly introduces the Lexogen products used in this study. Our product manager Dr. Yvonne Goepel will present RiboCop, CORALL, QuantSeq, and SIRVs and focus on what made these products especially suited for this (and similar) research questions.
