Knowing that SG will release even more overpowered heroes in the future, New Moon Luna's strength will likely diminish to the level of heroes like Conqueror Lillias, Nahkwol, and Navy Captain Landy in about six months. She'll transition from an indispensable, overpowered hero to merely a good one. Considering how quickly SG releases new heroes monthly, all heroes that were once overpowered will eventually become ok good in the future.
Great explanation of power creep. Yes this is a thing. I think you underestimate how impactful her turn cycling is and how devastating AOE seal is. I think her life span will be far longer than what you say. But time will tell. cLilais, Nahkwol, Navy Landy.... all these are still top meta units and are all older than 6 months. In fact they are all at or over a year and mostly at the top of their games
I think for people that play standart or tank down , they can live without having ML luna since the instance you comit to giving your opponent a turn before doing any significant damage he will clean all the debuffs with something like a hand guy ,laia or a soul weaver. I personally play that way and have been struglling to find a use for luna due to my lack of agressive units

I am 3 singles away from the insurance and I don't know which one to choose to improve my team. What would you recommend? I think the best thing would be to replace RiderCrow and I had thought about Twin but since I haven't been playing for a while I don't know if it would be the best option or if you would recommend another character. I didn't get LunaML since I only have a decent Speed set and I would have removed it so I couldn't play it hahaha
For PVE usage and thing like laby, and abyss i would recommend Lone Crescent Bellona or Specter Tenebria If you are looking to start your journey into RTA then aTywin or BloodMoon Haste are the way to go
as a e7 veteran i approve of this tier list. It's overall correct. Maybe only minor thing i'd change is i think my boy straze the king of e7 deserves higher spot. With the proper gear he's beast pick up.
sun has kinda set on straze for PVE with Rift being a thing. If you can build a PVE straze you can build a rift team His uses in RTA are nice but not so nice to earn him a recommendation over what may come.
I MIGHT argue that Ruele is less useable than OpSig, but even then... not terribly sure that's true. I do bust out Ruele for a GW here and there. Oh shit, I paused the video to comment, but his next sentence was about Ruele lolol

Stene is bonkers in much of early game PVE. Abyss mainly. How much of that is cleared for you. Landy is a renaissance unit. good in PVP and PVE. I think i would lean toward landy over Stene to be honest.
I often got people caught off guard by building her as a tank damage taker with Protection set + Aurius...just annoy people with her soulburn negation and she do pretty well with it

youre entitled to make your own questionable choices. ML Luna is pretty easy to gear IMO. Hope the decision pays off. Ilynav is ~6 weeks away. Harseti is 12 weeks at best
As an atheist, I got 1v4'd twice by a riolet with my forgotten 4% missing hit chance from briseria. Missing 2 straight attacks from her. You cant underestimate followers of God.
Well, to be honest I don't even touch RTA so... I'm not sure I super need Luna... The most pvp I do is regular arena and GvG. So is she still that essential???
Ml luna is more of a arena/gw unit than an rta centric in my opinion. In rta is really not hard to counter her since one aoe cleanser is enough. In arena/gw however the best way to counter ml luna is belian with high er team, without that she is just gonna delete ~90% of def team out there, not to mention unit that counter her are those who are vulnerable to one shot nuker so its easy to go around those unit. You dont even need to to use her to win those comp.
If you like cleaving or playing aggro, she trivialises a lot of gvg defenses. bride jenua landy? no problem, every unit crits, senya doesnt proc and jenua doesnt proc. Dolitis stealth every turn, no worries. BM Haste barriers? No problem. AYufine? Doesn't gain fighting spirit. No def buff from Karina. No evasion in Adin or Riolet. No barrier from a.ras or uk arowell. No damage limit from gala. No pen res from wukong. No celine s2 blowing you up. No MA Ken oneshotting everyone. She DOES have her outs and her counters. And she really isn't much of a defense unit. And she does REALLY want a book, so you can't take her into belian defenses. But, like he says. You CAN paly without her. Will it be fun? Personally I'm sick of bride dolitis comps and she solves that in a single button click. I'm feeling more useful in gvg being able to cleave slower defenses. Take her with cavel and ewig and unless you're being trapped, pretty much a free win so long as you draft smart and dont take them into losing situations like cleansers, sole consolation, zahhak/ddr/handguy/laia, and the occasional counter set unit. GVG is all about offense and she's a staple for offense now. The two safest picks against her for defense in obuluca sole consolation and belian aren't that common lately.

@@claronata8281 nah I also chose him over ddr, but I don't regret it, he still has good matchups and a lot of power. He even has a pretty decent matchup against mlluna To be honest though, I rolled Clilias very early when I started the game though so it was less of a difficult choice I suppose.
I'm typing this before going through the entire video. My preference is either ML Choux, ML Haste or A Tywin since I already have Candy & Trauma. DDR I can get from coin shop if he is coming next, from the rumors I've been hearing. I might change my mind after watching this though. I have most of the ML5s. Other than these I think I'm only missing DKSharun, ML Aramintha, ADS & J Kise.
UPDATE: Okay, after giving it much thought & going through the whole video, I think I have decided to skip this entirely. Only 40 away from pity. Will wait for what's next. ML Ilynav seems promising. Possible that she is another broken unit. Most probably I will save further for Elf Queen Harsetti. Episodic boss is priority. I will spend those Galaxy BMs during Emp Ilynav run & hope to get something good. Patience is key. Thanks Mr. Wulf, for the clarity.
Im not sure i could pass on Haste but he will be around for the headhunt near the end of the year where as ilynav & Harseti will not be. So you live your best life. GL out there :)
you dont need for her to be fast. only for rta (and that's depends on enemy bridge, since no one can do anything to her turn1) she is free win both for gw and npc arena.
Imo. Yes. Slower builds are catching on. Her use in guild war and in normal arena are extremely high. Aoe seal is devastating. If there is another unit you want more for your place in the game then you do you. But luna is running the game right now. In 6 or so months new players who skipped her will prob have regrets.

How many years have you played this game would be my 1st question. 2nd question is how many ML5s you have as of now. If you're missing majority of them, especially the ones in S tier as per the video, I'd say you need to skip Luna. It all depends on the other units you have or don't have & your style of play. If you play RTA she can always be a force ban. But you do you, if you really want her, then get her. Do ask yourself, "why do you want her"? The purpose.

ML Ken is meta vs Landy and Yuffine and only if there is no other threat on the team. NOTHIN ELSE. He just gets your team killed. So many units dont trigger counters, dont use crits to nuke, or are tanky enough to take what he dishes out. He is VERY situational. Sharun is self contained, deals with a very prevalent meta debuff situation, is incredibly tanky, a high damage. She doesnt have the weaknesses that Ken has. As to your comment sharun using her s3s procs 2 elbrises, possibly a counter or 2 and kills her own team. That describes Ken perfectly too. Ken is not a bad unit. He is just not a great unit. He is a situational counter pick. You can early pick Sharun. You cannot early pick Ken. Now if you are talking GW only... yeah he is better. But overall i cant recommend picking a situational, low level arena, hard to use in RTA unit who has a few GW uses over a staple early pick RTA unit.

I'm typing this before going through the entire video. My preference is either ML Choux, ML Haste or A Tywin since I already have Candy & Trauma. DDR I can get from coin shop if he is coming next, from the rumors I've been hearing. I might change my mind after watching this though. I have most of the ML5s. Other than these I think I'm only missing DKSharun, ML Aramintha, ADS & J Kise.
UPDATE: Okay, after giving it much thought & going through the whole video, I think I have decided to skip this entirely. Only 40 away from pity. Will wait for what's next. ML Ilynav seems promising. Possible that she is another broken unit. Most probably I will save further for Elf Queen Harsetti. Episodic boss is priority.
I will spend those Galaxy BMs during Emp Ilynav run & hope to get something good. Patience is key.

Is luna even worth picking up as a new player ? Seen builds on her and she's mostly a speed tuned unit.
U can't pick luna on the mystic custom banner bro. Since ur a new Player make sure that u pull Some PVE Units before u go for PVP.
you dont need for her to be fast. only for rta (and that's depends on enemy bridge, since no one can do anything to her turn1)
she is free win both for gw and npc arena.
Imo. Yes. Slower builds are catching on. Her use in guild war and in normal arena are extremely high. Aoe seal is devastating. If there is another unit you want more for your place in the game then you do you. But luna is running the game right now. In 6 or so months new players who skipped her will prob have regrets.

How many years have you played this game would be my 1st question. 2nd question is how many ML5s you have as of now. If you're missing majority of them, especially the ones in S tier as per the video, I'd say you need to skip Luna. It all depends on the other units you have or don't have & your style of play. If you play RTA she can always be a force ban. But you do you, if you really want her, then get her. Do ask yourself, "why do you want her"? The purpose.

The reason I'm asking is because most ML Luna teams have units that I don't have like Cleave units and etc. I don't play RTA but I do play GW and Arena.

Yeah ml ken is not as good as ml luna or senya but he's still more useful than dragon king sharun lol why is she in solid pickup and he isn't? If you compare ml ken to ml luna and senya then compare sharun to them also, compared to them she's in the shitter also.
One of these units is heavily played at World's. The other is not.
On a completely unrelated note, did you know that Martial Artist Ken hasn't been picked at World's this year?

ML Ken is meta vs Landy and Yuffine and only if there is no other threat on the team.
NOTHIN ELSE. He just gets your team killed.
So many units dont trigger counters, dont use crits to nuke, or are tanky enough to take what he dishes out. He is VERY situational.
Sharun is self contained, deals with a very prevalent meta debuff situation, is incredibly tanky, a high damage. She doesnt have the weaknesses that Ken has.

Ken is not a bad unit. He is just not a great unit. He is a situational counter pick. You can early pick Sharun. You cannot early pick Ken.
Now if you are talking GW only... yeah he is better. But overall i cant recommend picking a situational, low level arena, hard to use in RTA unit who has a few GW uses over a staple early pick RTA unit.

not exatly, u can build her Tank and spam S2, it's really annoying.
She define arena/gw def team right now, but yeah in rta she is pretty tame compare to other meta unit.
