ML's like theory craft or whatever talk at 8:50 reminded me of a thing I brought up with my friends when Mauga had his blizzcon weekend: the only supports that can still heal their team from outside his ult are Mercy and Moira (although technically Ana and LW, since nano heals 250 and you can place tree inside the cage from outside). Of course, Moira-Mercy is probably not the best support duo to counter him lol.
Also, as a fun fact, although they patched it out with his official release, during the blizzcon weekend LW was able to life Mauga's cage by placing his petal on the center point of the cage, causing the shield to go up, and bring LOS to people outside it. People were still chained to the cage, but if there was a ledge, and you fell a significant enough distance, the chain would break and the person would be free. Currently, Mauga can place his ult on a LW petal and have the cage in the air, and when the petal breaks the cage will fall on top and trap whoever is below.

LW has a tech where you can flick your camera to the side while you're still locked on to an ally, and the heal will go around a large path to get there.
If you flick WAYYY up with this, you can heal people inside of Cage Fight as LW, even from ground level with the cage. It's pretty good.

Sombra can farm emp off him very easily and you could easily get emp for every one of Maugas ult.

Moira coal goes through Mauga shield then you can heal and dmg ppl inside and dmg the sheild

Mei Blizzard is a huge mauga ult counter. Most times their team will be in there, and unless he has LW, or kiri, he's forced to break his own ult to escape. Otherwise he just gets frozen and rolled lol. As much as I dislike Mei, I've found her to be the best counter for him on dps. Plus of course, if they're not careful you can wall them off. Most maugas are overly aggressive because they do 5 zillion DPS. But just like any other tank, without their team they're useless.
