An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

The guy is clearly very nervous and obviously is running through a rehearsed presentation and made a minor error in his hello greeting. The world is too full of people from both sexes who are quick to make judgments and assumptions about people. It takes guts to stand up in front of successful people like the dragons and leave yourself open to possible rejection. My heart goes out to him and all other entrepreneurs who have to put themselves through that to realise their dreams. Well done mate, you can be forgiven on this one
Thank you for understanding he made an error. Sarah was in a position of power there and gladly used it to make a headline for herself. She is not a nice person, just ask people that have had business dealings with her. My father was loved and adored by everyone that new him. His funeral was a celebration of his life which was like a rollercoaster. We had famous musicians who played for free for the day because they loved him so much!

@@emmetboyle7770 Sorry for your loss as someone who has lost both parents I understand your pain. However, your dad was dead wrong on this one. He made a serious gaffe in saying 'Gentleman' and was completely dismissive of Sarah. He also ignored her and was quite frankly rude to her and I have a feeling had Sarah not stuck up for herself I'd bet a dime to a dollar that he would've left the room and not said anything at all to her.

@@colmwhateveryoulike3240 Well that was my father who she humiliated on national tv, he dragged his display up two flights of stairs on his own , wasn’t allowed take his jumper off and was panting for air. Never on tv before and guess what? He made a mistake, nerves maybe. One of the dragons wrote to my father and apologised for her behaviour on the show!
not sure why anyone is defending this guy, even if he does not normally deal with women, Sarah is a Dragon, to just blank her, is just utterly insane, to say nothing of the bad PR, it gives him, and his business.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt the first two times but when he addressed the "gentlemen" when only Sarah was still in there was no room for any excuse. So weird not to mention rude and terrible business practice.
Exactly. First time I assume it's an accident. Second time shows his stupidity. Third time seemed to be on purpose. Ironically I was leaning slightly in favor of the product. So if I had been in her place his attitude would have cost him 100 grand.

However, I didn't post negative stuff, I gave an observation about how your dad came across in the video that remains valid whether or not he did it by accident or whether it betrays an underlying attitude problem. I never presume to read minds but additionally, nobody is perfect and that doesn't mean they're not loveable. You would do yourself and his grandchildren a favour not to attach love to expectations of perfection because we all have faults and we all do our best and any criticism of their grandad should not affect their love for him.

Why does it irritate me that some people refuse to take care of thier health (I shouldn't care). Yes I know "some people have physical issues that contribute to their bad health" but that's a small amount. Take care of your health people.

Speaking from experience, what you see superficially is the tip of the iceberg. Some people who look like a gym membership and a healthy diet would fix them should be congratulated at the efforts they've made not to kill themselves because some basic facets of life others take for granted got messed up or disabled due to some kind of consistent abuse during early development. Most struggles are invisible and the sufferers would never dream of making you or anyone else feel bad by telling you about them even if it would help them to do so.

Don’t forget bankrupt. Sarah abused her position of power. There’s an old saying , “ be nice to people on the way up and they’ll be nice to you on the way back down”. The very fact one of the dragons wrote a letter to my father after the show, to apologise for Sarah’s behaviour, says it all really. Great tv but only an edited version is all people get to see!
