I was in the control room with about 8 people and had this performance on a monitor we were discussing the mix we had just listened to then one of the producers asked me whats on the TH-cam so I played it over the studio monitors, the room went dead quiet till the end then ever one wanted to know everything they could about her; I told one of the producers there that this is one singer that will never have to use auto tune.

For a long time I've amused myself imagining Billie Holliday's joy if she could jump into a protective family and be so nurtured and supported in her music as Angelina is. Then I had fun imagining Frank Sinatra having the same chance. Amy Winehouse lived longer than when Angelina was born, so that's out. But lately I imagine Angelina in the clouds studying in the heavenly jazz school and then saying "I'm ready to go!" with the same thumbs-up as before she sang Gloomy Sunday. Wherever she prepared, she surely came in prepared!

She came from the planet "Talent" where everyone has some kind of super ability. She lived on the same street as Dimash and around the corner from Tiger Woods. She came in a rocket wrapped in a blanket which her family made into the outfit she wore on AGT, with the leftovers making the mask in the "The Show Must Go On" video. Her only "Kryptonite" is the Hollywood Music Machine.. So far, her family has done a great job shielding her. Hopefully she never gets caught up by it.

👌 So true, but actually by 6 she was already a full blown philanthropist. At the age of 3, she attended a charity exhibition by her grandma to raise money for cancer. She donated and sold 20 of her own drawings for the charity. Her grandma is an amazing compassionate and talented person and a wonderful mentor and supporter for Angelina.

You mentioned the story of her giving away her shoes. Lost in the story is the person ( maybe Mom or Grandma) whom accompanied her when the deed was performed. This person was an enabler, allowing the deed to be actualized. Reading that her grandpa was also a benevolent person, i can't help but recall the saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree".

There’s a video of her “schooling” the musicians in preparation for her performance and it quickly became clear who was in charge. She really is amazing in the way that she knows how to interpret and present these complex compositions. I don't believe it is because she has classically studied jazz, but since the age of 3 she has immersed herself in listening to the jazz classics and has really internalized the flow and feel of the style so at this time it comes naturally to her. Combine that with her natural talent and the vocal training she has received and you have the makings of an intuitive and intelligent artist. I can't wait to see what she has for us after she comes out of the pandemic shutdown.
Soul, your opening remarks were right on and I couldn't agree more. You also mentioned that you believe she has already influenced many people. When you scroll down and read the comments you will see older guys saying they wish they will be around for a while to follow Angelina's career. Guys in their 80's openly state they have never heard anything like her in their lives. And, I loved your comment that you said she has an aura around her and if you're lucky enough to get close to her you will feel the energy she radiates. Soul, I have two suggestions for you, both when she still is 8. They were recorded 1 week apart. The first one is What A Wonderful World sung outdoors at the annual Noble Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo. The second one is I'll Be There for a charity event in Sweden. A little side bar is that she caught a cold singing in Oslo because it was so cold. Officials gave her a small carpet for her feet and even an electric heater but she still got sick. But, she insisted she wanted to go to Sweden because the event had to do with Bullying Children and she wanted to participate.......Soul, it doesn't stop. She's so beautiful.

We fans want, of course, for you to do many more reactions. But, here’s my dilemma: from the same Norway show, her other performance of Bang, Bang is probably my favorite. It’s a perfect marriage of Angelina’s soulful voice with the melancholy of that odd, beautiful song. Yeah, how did she find that song? So I really want to hear that, but I also want you to understand that you’ve only scratched the surface by listening to Angelina’s very early performances. Think of Angelina’s talents and abilities enhanced a few years later by a rich, resonant, mesmerizing voice. In her very early teens, her versions of A Million Years Ago or Born to Die (just two picked at random) stun you at the first notes with Angelina’s unique voice and her ability to live the lyrics of whatever she’s singing. You’ll get to hear her kill songs in so many genres. I envy that you’re just starting out.

Regardless of whether or not a young child is affected by past lives, a young person's basic values are instilled in the first 5 or 6 years of their life. Therefore, let us not forget that she is the daughter and granddaughter of people who love her and have trained her to be what she is. Her insight and ability to absorb and project that beautiful upbringing most certainly is from another world.

I don't know the story, but Angelina has a picture of the two of them on her Instagram page. There is a recent study that concluded that child prodigies tend to be more altruistic than ordinary children. The fact that Angelina gave away her favorite green boots with no expectation of reward, simply because she saw a need, reinforces that conclusion. Her empathy is simply beyond our understanding. But I think we should be careful not to deify her. She is human after all and will make mistakes, but her goodness is so real, so genuine. I don't think she will ever intentionally do harm to anyone or anything.

👌 So true, but actually by 6 she was already a full blown philanthropist. At the age of 3, she attended a charity exhibition by her grandma to raise money for cancer. She donated and sold 20 of her own drawings for the charity. Her grandma is an amazing compassionate and talented person and a wonderful mentor and supporter for Angelina.
You have to understand she has the same altruistic bohemian soul as her artist grandmother with whom she has trawled record shops in search of billy holiday, etta james etc, jazz records since she was born

You mentioned the story of her giving away her shoes. Lost in the story is the person ( maybe Mom or Grandma) whom accompanied her when the deed was performed. This person was an enabler, allowing the deed to be actualized. Reading that her grandpa was also a benevolent person, i can't help but recall the saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree".
That is in the reason they are called "Grand" in their titles!!!

they were sea-green ankle boots and angelina said they were her favorite shoes...her grandfather died recently and angelina said he would be sorely missed by the townspeople ( less fortunate ) as he would help them find jobs and give them money. it runs in her family. wait till u find out about her writing skills...thanks

There’s a video of her “schooling” the musicians in preparation for her performance and it quickly became clear who was in charge. During the show you see her turn to the trumpet player as if to say, “ you better get this right!” She’s a real prodigy and it’s great to see others recognizing her talent!

Another wonderful reaction to my favorite young singer. You articulated very well what a special gift she is to the world. Her altruism at such an age is as remarkable as her voice. There were no better performances of this song by an 8 year old in a live completion on her national TV, anywhere in the world. I can barely wait to you see her on stage in a packed stadium singing “What A Difference A Day Makes” at age 8.

every day i listen to few reactions of Angelina,( only Angelina) and now i always look for your reaction to her because both of you make my day,,,,,,,i am glad she has 130 songs to react to and i hope you will find time to do as many as possible,,,,,,,,thank you only few people react soulfully to our angel and its beautiful to be a part of it
She really is amazing in the way that she knows how to interpret and present these complex compositions. I don't believe it is because she has classically studied jazz, but since the age of 3 she has immersed herself in listening to the jazz classics and has really internalized the flow and feel of the style so at this time it comes naturally to her. Combine that with her natural talent and the vocal training she has received and you have the makings of an intuitive and intelligent artist. I can't wait to see what she has for us after she comes out of the pandemic shutdown.
Soul, your opening remarks were right on and I couldn't agree more. You also mentioned that you believe she has already influenced many people. When you scroll down and read the comments you will see older guys saying they wish they will be around for a while to follow Angelina's career. Guys in their 80's openly state they have never heard anything like her in their lives. And, I loved your comment that you said she has an aura around her and if you're lucky enough to get close to her you will feel the energy she radiates.
Soul, I have two suggestions for you, both when she still is 8. They were recorded 1 week apart. The first one is What A Wonderful World sung outdoors at the annual Noble Peace Prize Ceremony in Oslo. The second one is I'll Be There for a charity event in Sweden. A little side bar is that she caught a cold singing in Oslo because it was so cold. Officials gave her a small carpet for her feet and even an electric heater but she still got sick. But, she insisted she wanted to go to Sweden because the event had to do with Bullying Children and she wanted to participate.......Soul, it doesn't stop. She's so beautiful.

We fans want, of course, for you to do many more reactions. But, here’s my dilemma: from the same Norway show, her other performance of Bang, Bang is probably my favorite. It’s a perfect marriage of Angelina’s soulful voice with the melancholy of that odd, beautiful song. Yeah, how did she find that song?
So I really want to hear that, but I also want you to understand that you’ve only scratched the surface by listening to Angelina’s very early performances. Think of Angelina’s talents and abilities enhanced a few years later by a rich, resonant, mesmerizing voice. In her very early teens, her versions of A Million Years Ago or Born to Die (just two picked at random) stun you at the first notes with Angelina’s unique voice and her ability to live the lyrics of whatever she’s singing. You’ll get to hear her kill songs in so many genres. I envy that you’re just starting out.

She truly is a very special young girl and her ability to understand deep emotions and have compassion for others is outstanding. Regardless of whether or not a young child is affected by past lives, a young person's basic values are instilled in the first 5 or 6 years of their life. Therefore, let us not forget that she is the daughter and granddaughter of people who love her and have trained her to be what she is. Her insight and ability to absorb and project that beautiful upbringing most certainly is from another world.
I completely agree with your opinion on her personality being that of an old soul, & I think that is why, we feel every note she sings, because in a past life, she has lived that emotion, & expresses that in her singing!!! I have never been so touched by a singer, since I fell in love with Barbara Streisand in the 70's.....

You mention Norah Jones. They have worked together, shared a stage somewhere. I don't know the story, but Angelina has a picture of the two of them on her Instagram page.
There is a recent study that concluded that child prodigies tend to be more altruistic than ordinary children. The fact that Angelina gave away her favorite green boots with no expectation of reward, simply because she saw a need, reinforces that conclusion. Her empathy is simply beyond our understanding. But I think we should be careful not to deify her. She is human after all and will make mistakes, but her goodness is so real, so genuine. I don't think she will ever intentionally do harm to anyone or anything.
