A cover for the FNF Nightmares mod. I'm going to make one cover for each nightmare character, so why not start with the main antagonist of the mod?
Doubles and No Miss Allowed parts for extra difficulty and chart variety.
I tried to add some cool effects. The fire parts give the song extra intensity.

as simple as it is, i like how nightmare bf's mechanic is to not allow you to miss at all, because whenever you play against an opponent, the health bar is almost always in favor of bf and if the opponent does hypothetically miss, they'd die instantly. (which they don't do because they're bots)
i like to imagine that nightmare bf turns the health bar on you, and now *you're* the opponent who is one miss away from dying.
that is fucking genious now that i think about it
actually clever as hell as a concept
just needs some work on the art and bam, banger mod
Thinking about N!BF mechanics had got me stumped for a while. Here's my list.
- this mechanic, which is what I like to call the Defeat mechanic (this mechanic came from Defeat first)
- Dodging mechanic, similar to sans dodge mechanic except you not only have to dodge mic throws(one dodge), but sonic screams(25 dodges) and cap saucers(2 dodges)
-Osu! Charting
- And finally, the frigging charting. Designed to be similar to the hardest osu! Mania chart.
@@chronic5577 I feel like for the sonic scream, it should be like a held note but with the dodge button, along with playing a special animation of bf covering his ears (if possible)
@@thepixelartists5756 yeah that would help, but I'd like to make it a bit harder. The Sonic scream will still do damage, at least 1/4 or half health.

I like how nightmare boyfriend sounds like he’s drowning n water, and the real boyfriend(or rather corrupted) is trying to calm him down and free him, but the nightmare version is refusing for help. That’s what I’m picturing
Also after the first turn nightmare bf corrupted regular bf while he was trying to save him, so there’s that as well

I like to think that Nightmare Boyfriend is the ACTUAL boyfriend. He beat every other character in the indie cross universe, learned their abilities (hence the fact that he uses Cuphead's attack) and is now fighting, for lack of a better term, 'Anomaly Boyfriend'.
bg should be Week1 but Blue fire and GF nightmare too
That actually makes sense, especially considering the fact that Anomaly BF is being controlled by Chara in this song. This could be a BF from a timeline in which he didn't escape Chara after Sans' week in Indie Cross.
You should make Nightmare bf more blue so that he fits in more with the background, since it's using the Devils Gambit shaders

Something that I find funny is that I absolutely love creating nightmare designs for characters, and I once considered getting a team together to make a nightmare mod like this one, but it looks like you got to it before me. Not like it's a big deal to me, anyway, this is looking great so far! Keep up the good work!

I love how the blue flames in the back rise when the no misses allowed part startes, and dies down when it isn't. It's like Nightmare BF is starting to get excited, and because of his power the flames get higher.

I feel like there shouldn’t be a “no misses allowed” gimmick AND a “press space to not die” mechanic on the same song, it’s like how trying to Full Combo Knockout is so difficult because you have to play notes WHILE dodging and attacking. Also there are WAYY too many dodge attacks, and they don’t even go with the song or anything, they are kinda just there

What if NM BFs other attack would be him throwing the mic up but then he grabs the wire and SLAMS it into the ground in sync with the melody or beat, then it either bounce back to NM BF or he’d quickly reel and catch it?

I have an idea for the mechanics, Nightmare BF will shout/sing flaming music notes or arrows towards the BF. It would be more accurate about BF

you should’ve made it a different song related it to undyne, since this takes place in the waterfall where undynes fight is. But this is genocide boyfriend so that means he’s already killed undyne. ripped off burning in hell and recharted the chart, replaced the stage with smth else and the replaced the character with a BF skin, changed up possessed bf a bit to match with the theme , added new bf sounds, added new mechanics and made it harder because why not?
