Also recently I went to a bookstore near my house and the owner was trying to sell me a pirated copy of it ends with us, he had two different copies and I told him it is fake book, he told me that the publisher has sent him two different copies of the same book 😂😂😂 lol

I have received pirated copies several times from flipkart... But not from Amazon, even though I have seen people receiving pirated copies from there too.... I have always returned those books because they literally drain out all the fun of reading.... 🙂

Getting pirated copy is a bummer. I recently brought a good girls guide and it was a pirated copy. I didn't know at first but I recently found out that it was pirated and I got to know because of your video. I am very grateful that you have posted this. it's very helpful and helps new readers to understand the difference between pirated copies and original copies. Pirated books are *everywhere*
Even in bookstores, even in book fairs I spotted some pirated books in the publisher's offical stalls! I don't know HOW or WHY 😭
This is what I like about Bengali books and publishers, they are ALL hardcovers and great quality books with very low prices. Like hardcovers for 150-200 rupees
Omg seriously that's what ...all u get is pirated books everywhere ..I have been searching everywhere where to get original ones.
I was once travelling in a train and a guy was selling books and even though I had my kindle with me I felt obliged as a bibliophile to buy a book from him and all of the books he was selling were pirated and I asked him if he had an original copy of any book and he said that who's going to pay 500 or 600 bucks for a single book and it just makes sense like people just aren't willing to pay that much money for original books and I agree with the audiobooks and library part even I wish I had a library in my city 😭

Even the Hardcovers are like 1000 and 2000 for most books i love hardcovers but can't afford that much for a single book so i have no choice but go for paperbacks instead 💀

I got 2 books which are pirated out of my 300+ books. Both of them were from Flipkart. Both bought during sale. Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone and Roald Dahl 's Matilda.
So from where do you buy the original and how much does it cost you?

Please make a video on stores where we can buy the originals at discounted price or first copies because being a student it gets kinda heavy on my pocket to buy originals as the prices are so high.
No issues but the plot or story should be good to understand.
Amazon verified sellers are selling xeroxed copies at original price too and it’s the seller you mentioned here in the video . It’s only known when we receive the books

In the Cannaught place region in Delhi there are a lot of shops where they sell books and you can tell at first glance that a lot of them are pirated. But I am guilty of buying many books from these places as they are so cheap, less than half the price of the original book. And many times ive found books that i couldn't get from anywhere at this place.
I had pre-ordered It starts with us from amazon. I was so excited to read it. When I opened the parcel, I was so disappointed. I wanted to cry at that moment.

Most of the books from Instagram, not all; are actually pirated copy, because there is no way a book that cost 400 will cost 179 or 169 Rupees.
Those any book at 99 websites are just street book vendors with Internet access.

I bought about 9 pirated books but I really wanted to read them and english books are not sold here (very rarely will popular original books make it here) I got them when i saw it was being sold. But after realizing I got tons of pirated books, I feel so bad cuz I wasted so much money and I don't even want to read it because everything is so bad and I don't even know if the content in there is the same as the original :( the paper and text qualities are horrible. It's like I own books I want to read but I can't. I wish there were more english fiction books here. There are only pirated books here- if it's original, there's only like 10 different books in the country that are english fiction and none of them would be the one I want to read. I don't even know what to do with my pirated books. Should I sell them cheap? But then again I really wanted to read the book so should I keep it and maybe read it?? idkkkkk 😭😭😭
let me tell something, it's not the customer's / reader's issue that we get a pirated copy. it's the business of the sellers be it ecommerce/ bookshops that they take care of it. i would say the reader is rather at a loss if he/she has received a pirated piece. itna dimag padhne me laga aaye ya yeh sab dhundne me lagaye? kahe liye lagaye? ecommerce wale/ store wale black money kamye or hum dimag lagaye... unko sambhalna chahiye.... ye aisi baat ho gyi ki chor tumhare ghar me ghus aayi aur tum so kyu gaye the raat ko........
Sis pls tell me that does Amazon deliver used books sometimes?? Because I recently ordered a Ruskin bond book. I was expecting a new book but then I got an old one . The inside pages were good, little pale but still readable but the cover was weary. I don't have a problem with getting old book but they should've mentioned it at least somewhere.
Pls tell me that how can we check whether the book that we are going to order is old or used in Amazon.

It is such an unfortunate thing that even on Amazon listed publishers print and send bad quality books. I now feel it is a waste of my money to get a paperback which either a Pirated or badly printed. I might just download the books online.

I have also ordered from both them but Cocoblu were a trouble for me. I ordered a hardcover and recieved a damaged copy from them. When I replaced it there was no dust jacket just naked hardcover. And then, the book was out of stock. I had to return it.
Their books are original but they don’t provide any bubble wrap or cardboard box. They just pack the books in a simple paper package and maximum no. of times, the books are damaged. Whenever I’ve ordered from them I have received the damaged copies.
It is just heartbreaking as one has to wait for that thing for so long and then going through all of it.😢
I thought I was the only one getting damaged books from cocoblu. It just ruins the whole experience.

The case with library is not true because
1) There are tons of books
2) There is no one to guide how to search for particular books
3) We mostly want to read latest books and we won't find it in library.
