This was the first kannada movie bengali, odia and bangladeshi bengali. This was also the first kannada movie to be remade in foreign language. I am a Tamilian, after knowing Mannan(1992) is a remake of this movie, I started watching this. How beautifully scripted story and screenplay... There is a justice given to the story and every character. Dr.Rajkumar and Madhavi are at their best!!! The same story is majorly spoiled in Mannan movie just to potray Rajini at high.
