Charles Lloyd is a global treasure. We, the listening people have enjoyed and been moved by this octogenarian’s presence, but the thousands of musicians that he has played with have experienced first hand his creative genius and gone away better for it.
We saw him a couple weeks ago at Marciac Jazz fest 2024 in France. He is indeed still an amazing player..he's now 86yo! He's has mellowed with the years but still has magic!
