    Well - it's been a crazy week (being that the entire world is shut down), and I missed getting this out Friday. But one day late, under the circumstances, seems fine. Hop you all enjoy!

      Did anyone ever think it would go go on for another year?

      A trick: you can watch movies on Kaldrostream. Been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.

    Hey - just wanted to leave a commend to really say thank you. Your videos finally help me to make some progress with the force - I had a really ruff start with it and it was already collecting dust. But your videos really help to actually get music out of the Force and also get a little feel of "oh cool" instead of "urgggh" with it :)

    I really wish this thing came with a printed manual. I hate reading off of screens... Been searching everywhere how to adjust the master sends, and its just a button. Sigh. Thanks and stay safe Pink Buddha!

    Love your videos and find them very helpful. A request for a future video ... I saw on the Namm 2020 Akai promo that they had been using "round robin" samples on the drum tracks. So every time you hit a pad it changes to a different sample (somthing like that) I haven't seen anyone actually show how to set that up. If you know how and would like to share with the world that would be awesome! Thanks again for all your Force advice!!

    Can't wait to see your video about controlling external synths. That's mainly why I bought a Force and have some little problems to use it, especially the Program Change which restart the synths (those with presets/memory) and the totally random CC parameters (why didn't they only indicate the numbers instead of those parameters name !?).
    Thanks for your great videos btw, very inspiring !!!

  • @tronlady1

    Thank you so much! Love that bassline and really appreciate the annotations! There are a few bits when I’m not quite sure what you were doing. One is adjusting clip length at 2.50? Can’t see the touchscreen text at 7.37 (even at 10.80p). I’m finding this on a lot of force tutorials and with my own video’s. 1080p should be razor sharp and it’s not? I know it’s a pain because I make videos myself and I understand the massive effort that goes into them. I’m finding that I either need to assume that the viewer knows absolutely nothing and explain EVERY little thing or to put a notice on the beginning that says it’s for people who are already have some knowledge of the topic.

    Do you know what “knobbing” means in england?

  • @gonzinigonz

    These vids are just what i needed to see what the interface is like and work flow. Seriously looking at picking one of up and selling all the other gear off i just don't use. I vowed I'd never buy anymore Akai products due to their lack of product support, but.....
    I take you can assign any CC number to these as a preset to control external synth parameters with a midi track?

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes...particularly with the new update. I'm going to be making an updated version of this video to demonstrate.

    • @gonzinigonz
      @gonzinigonz 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PinkBuddhaAcademy Cool! That would be great. I'm so tempted to pick one of these up, but holding out until I've drilled down more of the finer details.
      I've not seen mentioned anything about maximum polyphony yet. I wondered what hardware they've based this on. Its almost like a high spec laptop with a custom interface.

    Hello. you can help me turn on the step seq mode in which the pedals are divided into two zones on top play the samples and below the synthesizer ?
    thanks

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You mean the pads, not the pedals...right? You can split the pads into launch and note view. So that you trigger clips on top and play notes below (drum or melodic notes...depending on the track). You push the note and launch button at the same time.

    Looking forward to watching this. One drawback (from just getting started learning the Force) is the lack of easily tweaking sounds in the fly. Always reaching for knobs but they don’t do squat from defaults. :) Thanks for videos!

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hope you enjoy! I also would recommend just using one of the demo tracks - open it up, and then delete all the sounds you don't want. But the project knobs, and master track, will remain in place.

    Thanks for this. Recently got Force and finding your videos really helpful. :) Have you used knobs with a key group? I tried to use the learn function to get it to assign cutoff filter on a key group track, to a knob. It did this fine. But turning the knob did nothing. It showed it moving on the screen and knob, but it wasn't actually affecting the cutoff. Is this something about keygroups that I don't understand yet. Am I trying to do something that can't be done? Btw, I was using a key group I had made myself, so that might have been a factor? Thanks again.

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy

      I noticed that happening sometimes too, and when I redid it - or just saved, started over - it would then work. So not sure what's up with that.

    Been posting about this in various places figure id try here to as you seem to be using the Force a whole lot. All 8 assignable knobs/encoders on my recently acquired Force make a noticeable mechanical/physical(not electrical) "click/crackle ish type noise" when turned or just handled in general.
    Have made a video to attempt to demonstrate:
    drive.google.com/file/d/1qOFkPO9PsHT3d6uF9o0FkJ9nWOSUTO4o/view
    And this is a old thread I was pointed to on a forum I think describing a similar issue on the MPC Live which may use similar encoders:
    www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=184420
    This happen to you or anyone else reading this ?

    • @PinkBuddhaAcademy
      @PinkBuddhaAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't had that issue. Unfortunately akai sucks at customer service.
