I like the subtleties of each effect. It has the effect but doesn’t overpower the guitar or the player. If I were a pedal guy, that is the core of a board.

Definitely a generic chinese product of 50 different brands, they will put whatever you want on it if you order from them. Be sure to open it and protect that battery from any nearby screws, there are some that can touch it

What a time to be a poor guitar player. Cheap guitars and gear have never before been at the level they currently are. It’s almost getting hard to find any really bad stuff. I wish everything else, especially necessary things, was on this same trajectory.
I have the usual nice ($$$$) stuff but I'm having fun with a $100 acoustic + $5 sound-hole pickup and a Tank-G (actually made by M-Vave). The snobs at the open-mic are struggling to justify their Taylors/Martins, etc. I just rock-up with the bare guitar, no gig-bag and toss it around the place when not playing. Meanwhile these guys are babying their fancy furniture that sound like shite 🤣😂
I bought a donner 3 in1 pedal 4 years ago it has delay chorus and overdrive. Works great for this play ay at home musician. About 65 dollars not bad

Great video but you guys forgot to mention this thing can profile real amps, amp Sims and overdrive pedals... it really comes alive when you put good captures into it and better IRs... iv even gone on tonehunt and did captures of those captures

I wouldn't use this for recording or big gigs, but as a backup rig, small gigs or just noodling at home or hotel room I reckon this is the sh1t!
Fun fact sean , that pedal is also a Profiler. Yeah you read that right. You can load IRs and amps into that thing.

This would easily replace 5 of my pedals and clean up the pedal board. The amp profiles and Bluetooth connectivity also make this an impressive pedal for only $80.
That actually sounds pretty damn decent. I’d be curious to hear it with cheaper, muddier pickups.
Very helpful to hear how Trey recommends tweaking the tones - I’ve never heard anyone make the point about turning the speaker sim on/off and being plugged into a computer direct vs an amp. That’s a very important point to making it sound good or crappy!
Can this thing be plugged directly into a mobile phone setup? I always wonder if you can do that. If you can plug into a computer with a line, it should theoretically work with the right cables - never seen anyone test that theory, though.
Now that Trey has the real, maybe he can test a few more things out with crappy pickups and the phone - content suggestion! 💡

There are phone adapters designed for this that fit IPhones/IPad or other phone types (Not the same adapter). Mine is for Android devices (Phone or Tablet), it has a 3.5mm mini jack output for the phone, a female 3.5mm for headphones, a 1/4" female input for guitar and 1/4" female output jack for amp. (I got it from Temu)
Great demo...I switched from pedals to computer a few years ago but when something like this comes by my feed I always want to try one. The crunchy distortion sounds tasty out of that little box.

I just got back into playing after 25+ years not playing, and against some peoples wishes I do reviews…I just reviewed a $62 guitar that blows away my first guitar from 1997 which cost 150…rate of inflation today it would be $294. The youngins don’t know what they got

I bought this discontinued pedal called the Valeton Dapper MDR. It was $120. It is this minus the amp. Cantvunderstand why it did move.

I do have a Line 6 Spider V60 with all the 'cabs and heads' (and effects) already built-in! However, I just cannot sensibly pass up a deal like that, $80 for a Bad ass pedalboard? I have the smaller Cube Baby pedal with similar features and I love it. The bass Cube Baby is also pretty cool, I used it in both my guitar and bass signal chains for extra tone control.
The noise gate should be before reverb and delay. Is it possible to change the order in the fx chain?

Sean, It has everything...Everything except a "Auto-Wah", right? Hook up an old-school "Morley", "Cry-Baby" or even a volume pedal and then you would have a decent gig-ready combo! Yes, that Monsoon certainly sounds awesome with Trey rockin' it! Nice "Storm-Trooper" tune at the end!
If you want the auto-wah, more amp sim and IR slots, more delay & reverb types, a boost/compressor effects block, and the ability to re-order the effect blocks, go for their Blackbox instead. It is about the same price and uses the same amp profiles.
You can make you own amp & pedal profiles as well using the M-Vave ANN profileing software.

It can do a cab, amp, and direct into a computer. So yes, you can do it the traditional way. They just plugged it in to the computer for recording purposes.
