I think evryone has atleast twenty oc that they neglected after a week, i right ni-ow have one oc that i have had for two years now and what really helped me stay interested in this oce was probably their open ended story i never till this day have come up with an end to her story and that keeps me interested i want to build her character and continue to se where it ends pf course i had a general consensis of how her story should go but i didnt flesh it out, it may have also helped that this oc was inspired by a friend of mine who really helped with the story wich may also help, having someone else to talk to about these things becouse i could fantasize alone but togheter you wil be able to acomplish more wich wil intern lmake you want to think more about this character thats how it went for me atleast. i love your art style great job! im kinda just trying to help but evryone is different so im sorry if this didnt help. :D

I have a question how do you do those like outlines of the brush depending like on what brush u use for example when u do a stroke with ur pen u see the like circle or how the brush looks like idk what to call it 😭
the brush cursor? On procreate, if you go to settings and click "Prefs" there should be a button that says "Brush cursor" you can turn it on there :) hope this helps 🤗💕
How do you do that trick where you fill the character all in one color first (like you did with the blue) and then go in with the characters color palette, while getting the blue you used to add a lively color to the characters palette, like you seemed to do here? I’ve been trying to learn how to do it for months but I haven’t found any explanation on how to :(
I used a clipping mask. I set the base color as blue, and I set a new clipping mask layer on top which means I can only color within that shape. You can actually see me do it here 6:03 I tried coloring in her hair, but it wasn't coloring inside the shape, and so I set it as a clipping mask. If you want more help, there's a handbook on Procreate's website, there's a whole chapter about masks and how to use them. I hope this answers your question 💕

For the base/textures, I used a brush called "Easy Oil Detail" from the Oils MaxPack brush set. For lineart/rendering, I used a brush I made myself :3
