Last time I needed a draft sign I've put it in a shape over the text and tilt it a little. When it became final I just removed the shape (from the print area). 🤔
If you want something that prints but is not visible on the worksheet then this is the way to go. I do the opposite as a way to differentiate my work. I use a worksheet background that doesn’t print but is visible. I use a very faded company logo.
Great point that my watermark only prints and is not visible while working in the spreadsheet. The background is visible while working but not while you print. With the new image transparency features, you could have both visible and printed.

Header, eh? I always used "background" for some reason. Although not having printed in about two years, I'm not up on the techniques.
How do you print wordar ? . Mine will not show up in print preview.
