    You have great comedic timing. I think you can make crochet talk a comedy genre! (You also remind me of Leanne Morgan with your spot on punchline delivery!

    Oh my gosh!! You are so funny!! I have a confession to make ~~ not only did my mother have a toilet paper doll in her bathroom, so did I and my 3 sisters also!! I was born in 1952 (makes me 71) so I lived thru the toilet paper cover madness & I survived!! 🤣 Over those crazy years, I made the holiday ones & plenty of the dolls, witches being my favorite. Keep up the fun & entertaining videos. BTW, I really like your sweater.

      Oh my dear one!! I am soooo glad you were not only subjected to, but participated and survived the crochet toilet paper craze. That is a true testiment to your strength and willingness to adapt. 😍♥️ I’m so glad you found me and got some giggles in your day. Smiles are important. Thank you for the compliments. ♥️And most of my shirts come from QVC, my mother is an addict and has passed on her tv shopping gene to me. 😂🤣

    2:37 the “not a doll”. Omgsh! Gramma’s toilet tank! 😂 hers was pink gingham & she just passed almost exactly one year ago-she still had it in MINT condition!!!
    PS: I TRULY relate to “monster mama”, too! We had four sons in 9 years; now three grandsons under 5. I’m ABSOLUTELY NOT raising the “grands”, but still. Very very relatable. Very.

    I just started making a ballon dog for a client and now I only see it as intestines in my hands!! Def have to buy the Monsters book. FYI- I lost one eye when I was in my teens and love that guy with the pop out eye😂.

    I asked AI to write a fairy crochet pattern. Here is what it wrote. I'm not able to see if it will work or not ...
    Written by AI
    Cute Amigurumi Fairy Pattern
    Materials:
    Yarn in skin color, dress color, wing color, hair color, and a shimmering or sparkly yarn for magical details.
    Crochet hook suitable for your yarn size, typically 3.5mm for amigurumi.
    Safety eyes (8mm).
    Black or pink embroidery thread or yarn for the mouth.
    Fiberfill stuffing.
    Yarn needle.
    Stitch marker.
    Optional: Small bead or charm for the fairy wand.
    Abbreviations:
    ch = chain
    sc = single crochet
    inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
    dec = decrease (sc two stitches together)
    st(s) = stitch(es)
    hdc = half double crochet
    dc = double crochet
    sl st = slip stitch
    Pattern:
    Head (Skin Color):
    R1: 6 sc in a magic circle (6 sts).
    R2: inc in each st around (12 sts).
    R3: [1 sc, inc] x 6 (18 sts).
    R4: [2 sc, inc] x 6 (24 sts).
    R5-R8: sc around (24 sts).
    R9: [2 sc, dec] x 6 (18 sts).
    R10: [1 sc, dec] x 6 (12 sts). Start stuffing the head.
    R11: dec x 6 (6 sts).
    Finish off.
    Body (Dress Color):
    R1: 6 sc in a magic circle (6 sts).
    R2: inc in each st around (12 sts).
    R3: [1 sc, inc] x 6 (18 sts).
    R4-R7: sc around (18 sts).
    R8: [1 sc, dec] x 6 (12 sts).
    R9: sc around (12 sts). Start stuffing the body.
    Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
    Arms (Skin Color, Make 2):
    R1: 4 sc in a magic circle (4 sts).
    R2-R4: sc around (4 sts).
    Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
    Wings (Wing Color and Sparkly Yarn):
    Chain 12, join with a sl st to form a ring.
    In the ring: (ch 3, dc, ch 3, sl st) x 6. This will give the wings a delicate, webbed look.
    Finish off.
    Hair (Hair Color):
    Cut lengths of yarn about 10 inches long. Take a strand, fold in half, and hook through a stitch on the head. Pull the yarn tails through the loop, and tighten. Continue this method until you have a full head of hair. Trim or style as desired.
    Wand (Sparkly Yarn):
    Ch 10. Finish off.
    Attach a small bead or charm to the tip to represent the magic orb.
    Face:
    Place safety eyes between R6 and R7, about 6 stitches apart.
    Stitch a cute smile with the embroidery thread or yarn.
    Assembly:
    Attach the head to the body.
    Sew the arms to each side of the body.
    Attach the wings to the back of the body.
    Arrange and secure the hair on the head.
    If desired, sew the wand to one of the fairy's hands.
    This amigurumi fairy is sure to spread a sprinkle of magic wherever she goes! Enjoy your crafting adventure.

    Hello I’m new to your channel and I really am enjoying it. I have a question and wonder if you can help. I am making the whale from pica pau 3 like you made and I am struggling with keeping the colors from leaning is the best description I can think of. The white is coming up to the top of the head and the blue from the top is going down on the right side. Is there a way to prevent this that I’m missing. I’m following the pattern exactly but on the left side the white is more visible on the top of the whales head. I’m probably not making sense so it’s ok if you don’t understand just struggling with this

    • @therumimillcrochet
      @therumimillcrochet  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, that trust drove me crazy too. Mine is still there, if I were to do the pattern again, I’d adjust the stitches to where it was more even. But to help it this time I just surfaced crocheted on top of the color change. The twist is still there, but it did help a tad. If I just don’t look at it straight on I’m happy. lol thank you for being here! ❤️❤️
