@Mashlegs For me too, this is one of the songs of my lifetime. I’m listening through lots of his music at this very moment after hearing the incredibly sad news, but yes, from the moment I first heard this song oh so many years ago, it was permanently engraved in my heart and mind and there was no way I wouldn’t seek it out at this time. May he Rest In Peace, the same kind of peace his music cultivated in the hearts and minds of so many around the globe. He was truly a treasure✨.
This movie shatters time and space. reality and universality. It is and always shall be, my friend, to borrow prose from another favorite. Star Trek 2. They simply don't make movies extolling feeling as these ones do. Its nigh extrasensory. Unbelievable. Maison Ikkoku touched the romance, Ranma 1/2 touched the magic, Akira touched the terror. But they all touched the wonder we no longer possess.
@@dopaminecloudidk I agree with them to an extent. When I watch older films they have that movie magic in them. Modern films just make me feel like I'm consuming a product.
The only anime that I know that did not swell up FOMO. It literally was specialness. I would listen to this on my deathbed, because I know what it means. Its so fucking beautiful.
RIP Riuichi Sakamoto. Had to hear this track the minute I heard he passed away.
+1

R.I.P Ryuichi Sakamoto
Rest in peace Mr. Sakamoto.
何十回、何百回聞いても、いつも新鮮な気持ちになれる名曲。
Rest in peace and rest in heaven, Mr. Sakamoto, you would be missed along with Mr. Takahashi. 😔
Saw this in my younger days and still have the Soundtrack Record!!!! 1988... those were the good years!
What an epic song to end this movie with.
one of my fav anime....

That sailor moon feeling...It no longer exists.
And those who know...You know.
I really live vernacular! Your paragraph was a joy to read.
YOU no longer possess. It is always a numbing of the soul, not of the times.

RIP Sakamoto-san.
this is just pure nostalgia right here

This track moves you into another dimension... It seems not from our time neither space✨
I can't believe that Peter Venkman made it to space.
It was only a matter of time
Nice Song
Good lord this song just screams 80s.
The best ending soundtrack I've experienced so far, what are some other good ones?
