Agustina is easily one of my favorite teachers with Dreaming Spanish! I love how she often repeats what she says in a slightly different way, and it is really helping my comprehension on the language.
I do not speak Spanish but I was fully able to understand all of this because you are speaking clearly and slowly. I love ALL of your videos because of this!
Me encanta.
I would like to suggest including the subtitles or the text from each video, as there were a few words I couldn't pick up. I have studied Spanish for many years in the Duolingo platform and that has been a key-success factor in my recovering my Spanish fluency. I work as a translator and English teacher, but I need to expand my Spanish skills to improve my translation work. I believe that Duolingo helps, but your videos share real Spanish with your viewers. Keep on the good work. Me gustan mucho tus videos.
I've never seen such a big spread of breakfast food that I've ever stayed at, so many choices! By the way, I didn't understand the word you used for pineapple, I would use piña.
@@TheRealMartin She didn't use the "wrong" word here because in Argentina it is how they call pineapple. Same goes for a few other Latin American countries, not all though. People need to get the idea out of their head that there is a right or wrong way of saying things in a language when it's just a matter of dialect. Here in America people would say "French fries" while in England they would say "Chips." Neither is more right than the other.
do u keep English subtitles on while watching or Spanish subtitles. How has your journey been so far? I am also a complete beginner so any help and tips are highly appreciated. Muchas gracias :)
@@manan-543 If you're still interested. I started with the superbegginer videos and don't use any subtitles. I do a little bit of duolingo, but that's pretty much it. Pablo recommends not using English or Spanish subtitles and not googling words you don't know, and so far for me it hasn't been an issue. I still seem to be absorbing a lot and am nearly through the beginner videos
A breakfast question for you. Many years ago in Panama I ordered huevos revueltos “con” tocino. They the eggs mixed with pieces of bacon. Does “huevos y tocino” mean the bacon is served beside but not in the eggs?
I love this channel! Thanks for all the great content. Would you ever consider doing a podcast for listening practice on the go? I think it would be quite useful.
In mainland Spain they use the Vosotros form “estáis”. In the Canary Islands and Latin American they use the Ustedes form “Están”. From Wikipedia: Like most other varieties of Spanish outside central and northern Spain, ustedes is used for all second-person plurals: ustedes están is used for vosotros estáis. Other usages include also the use of the third-person plural pronouns su and sus to refer the second-person instead of vuestro and vuestros as in Latin American Spanish. Example : ¿Ustedes recuerdan dónde quedaba su casa? (Do you remember where your house was?) for Canarian Spanish while being ¿Vosotros recordáis dónde quedaba vuestra casa? for Iberian Spanish.[8]
Lushen desayuna huevos fritos. Tatum come bagel con queso crema.
(what i wanted to say in my very broken spanish is that i could hear her Argentinian accent even though i have only studied spanish for like 4-5 weeks)

Me encanta.
One of the best videos I’ve ever watched because I could follow most of what was being said.

I've never seen such a big spread of breakfast food that I've ever stayed at, so many choices!
By the way, I didn't understand the word you used for pineapple, I would use piña.
Just different vocabulary sometimes in different countries
She used ananas, which is the word used in a lot of languages for that fruit.
Ananá
Tough I would use piña also.
😊
Didn't even occur to me she used the wrong word, because ananas is native to me in polish.

I can't believe that I understood every word and I'm a complete novice at Spanish. This lady is my new 'go to maestra' for Spanish lessons. Gracias.

As a Croat, I have never heard of Croatian breakfast.. what would that be?
Wow…her accent is different than Andres. No tengo comido favorito, pero me gustan waffles y fruta
Huevos Rancheros👌
I can understand you, thank you for speaking slowly.
Can someone please explain why a lot of Spanish speakers say “¿cómo están? Instead of “¿cómo estáis?” ?
