“ 28:31 what were we complaining about?”
“Something; it’s warhammer.”
Hahaha
I know this will probably fall on deaf ears as this is your format and I expect you're happy with it (which is totally fine-It's your channel :) ) but I really wish you'd go to a hand held camera style like they do with Mini Wargaming. The main overhead panel shows the tops of the player's heads and that's about it. There are some tiny objects on the table but I can barely see what's going on down there.
For me, a big draw of miniature wargaming is the visual impact of seeing cool miniatures (two whole armies of them) doing battle. Imagine if the battle scenes in 'Gladiator' or 'Braveheart' were shot entirely from a fixed camera 300 feet above the battlefield. You'd be able to see the general movements of troops, but you'd see none of the splendour of the warriors or the drama of the important engaements of the battle. PLEASE consider using a handheld camera. Otherwise great stuff-Thanks for posting :)
Second this!
Even a camera phone fly-through for some B-roll shots would help tremendously
Hand held camera please.
So much shade against Destruction Armies Luka!
New Cities of Sigmar looks so cool :D
i may be in the minority, but i'm not big on the new COS. i do like the knights, shields, and the character on the chimera thing. The cooking pot helms don't do much for me or the overall design.
Fair enough, aesthetics is all up to personal judgement. Perhaps the more classically chivalric knights and peasantry of noble Usoran's blessed crusaders might be more to your liking?
The real question is if the studio is going to buy the new flesh eater courts models or if Steve is. Or is Luka going to get the new FEC and let the studio use it?
Hi there, nice BatRep ! Steeve, i think you missread the warscroll of Zenestra. Her prayer "only" got 3 different effects to chose from : the 5+ ward, the +2 mov and the MW on priest&wizzard. The MW she does in combat is another ability, though i agree it's quite confusing because of the layout of the warscroll^^
I always find AoS plays better on a large mat size (6x4) at 1.5-2k as it gives more room to move around, the objective are farther apart (depending..), meaning you have to pick which objectives are more important to you, and you get less mashing. And you can add more towers to the table too.
Yay for AoS
FINALLY a CoS Batrep!
Steve's dice were on fire for this batrep, especially when it came to ward saves
What were your favorite and least favorite CoS units to play during the game?
Just came here to see the CoS army in their painted glory.
Each to their own, but I don't like the new CoS units. They've joined the AoS league of stupid hats. I was a CoS player because I liked the old Fantasy Battles style minis and they're mostly gone now. But that's okay because Old World will be here next februari so I'll be using them for that.
I guess they'd be fine to play empire, but you'd miss on all that landsknecht goodness
@@warp_machine9141 To clarify: I will be using the old fashioned Empire units to play Empire, including the landsknechtish Greatswords, and not these Age of Sigmar funnyboys.
@@Johnny-Thunderoh yes, i understood! I was just commenting on the whole using CoS models as empire for fantasy thing
