I guess that's why "Can't Be Tamed" came out--all those years, she was, indeed, tired of acting nice (publicly at least).
I agree that I think she's lying through her teeth through much of this. For instance, Miley was THE STAR of the BOBW tour. She was it. She was the one person they could not do the show without. But she wasn't treated like it. For instance, on the tour bus, why did her parents get the large bedroom in the back of the bus while she was relegated to a small cubby on the side? Maybe she was ok with that, maybe not. It ultimately doesn't matter. The fact is that EVERYONE around her, from Disney to her parents and in between, was monetizing her. They were taking advantage of her stardom in ways that she could not. She was 14-15 years old and basically along for the ride. IMO this is a big reason why, when the time came, she ran from Disney and her squeaky clean image and her young female fanbase as fast as she could. She went as hard in the opposite direction as she could when she finally had control.
