Excellent ambassador for Mexico and Puerto Vallarta. Also, an excellent ambassador for the US and expat community. I think truly an amazing person.... from Mexican-American living in L.A. California...

I love that she has a "second act" going back to Law school in Spanish in Mexico and made a second career in a beautiful place like PV. Many people do not want to "retire"

Love your perspective and appreciate your balanced view of Mexico. I am a Mexican-American native of LA and have not had a chance to get to know Mexico. I am now very excited to get to know PV and perhaps purchase property for future retirement there due to yours and other ex-pats' views. Thanks!

Hello Becca, I am Luke Kost Harriet lead real estate agent, learning about Mexico real estate is interesting and a fun journey, more fun in seeing all the different types of homes and or condos that are available, there is soo much variety! I worked for Oregon Realty in USA and I must say it more fun to show property down here because of the variety and beauty of the area. We have a online survey you can fill out and I would be happy to send you some stuff to look at that might be of interest. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd_3WstdzAr7KqfwoXBQ7GkS3dc06ik7aY9NfRHUfEzFtW3MA/viewform

I want to live there 3 months of the year and in San Diego other times and perhaps gradually move there. I have a partner without I've now become a semi-caregiver, so moving permanently is not an option now. I've rented a hotel for week in January 2021 to sort of get my feet wet. Want to look at areas that are gay friendly of course. Any advice would certainly be appreciated.

Health care is excellent in many parts of Mexico. The National health insurance program (Seguro Poplar) is available but extremely difficult to navigate through. You would definitely want a secondary coverage.

chivis v Don’t believe what you hear on the main stream media. Trump has done more to help this country than he’s given credit, but because he wasn’t a politician and a member of the club, so to speak, they try to discredit and give Trump negative press as often as possible. The problem isn’t immigrants, it’s illegal immigrate’s who break the laws. Americans moving into Mexico illegally and breaking Mexico’s laws, wouldn’t be tolerated by Mexican officials either. It’s also about respecting the immigrants who come here legally.

Many of us are ashamed of the way Trump is. He doesn't reflect the values of over half the country. Hopefully the next election will change all of this.

Hunt Ralph are u serious? PV is still a little Mexican town!! Full of locals!! full of real Mexican Restaurants, lots of taco stands in the streets ("Tacos al Pastor" in PV are the best!!!..and I know about Tacos! I'm Mexican!) Of course if u go to the beach there's a lot of tourists from everywhere (specially Mexicans from Guadalajara!) Americans mostly hang around Tourist spots but this little town is as Mexican as u can get!!...what is a "Gringo Gulch" is Cancun! even the prices there are in dollars! too expensive for us Mexicans! But PV is for everyone!! Specially for the people that like little town atmosphere! (I'm Mexican and live in Guadalajara! 😉) Cheers!
