When I was a kid back in the 70's (after Watergate), our neighbors stayed at the Polynesian....and there was rolling parts of the park down for security because Nixon was visiting. Boy, our neighbor hated Nixon so much and that just had him fuming. It was funny to hear him go off. :D

Good to see Anna again. This is so special to me. I lost my dad a little over a month ago to cancer and I was and am SUCH a daddy's girl. I did everything with him. I hope she knows how special this really is. I miss it.
This was so much fun to watch. I haven't been to Disney since 2012 and I miss it. Great to see the new stuff they were working on at the time now open. I loved getting an inside look at the Polynesian Resort. My first ever time at WDW in 1985 when I was 6 going on 7 we stayed at that resort and it was a great experience. Looks so much different now than it did in the mid 80s, but with a lot of familiarities at the same time. Great video, Jacob.
Great that Anna and friends are with you and also independent. That rum must have been stronger than you, a tea totaler are used to.

Certain drinks at Trader Sam's come with a show. When they shout "two shots of rum" that means someone ordered a Hippopotomai-tai drink.
I love stitch! Met him on a Disney cruise in 2011, and he was amazing!

That looks like an amazing hotel. Usually bars are on the skimpy side of alcohol. lol Great rides . Nice to have time with Anna . Been to Disney land but not Disney world . The Jungle Cruise jokes haven't changed much over the years. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
This just unlocked some core memories..Space Mountain was the first roller coaster I ever rode and my daddy rode it with me. I haven't thought about that in years..thank you for that and thank you for another awesome video!!

Skipper's Canteen is my favorite restaurant there. The food is great and the cast members make it really entertaining. It's full of easter eggs that connect it to all the Adventureland rides, Expedition Everest, The haunted Mansion and rides in the Disney Parks.

My wife and kids stayed at the Polynesian last October for Halloween, was a great trip and hotel!!!👍🙏🏽😎🎃

Zombie not only has several rums but also if made to the original recipe an Overproof Demarera rum (can guarentee I spelt that wrong) that alone could knock your socks off, I learned to make them from a Distinguished spirits video and it's my favourite Tiki drink.
It is intresting to see whats changed since I made my visit, it'll be 23 years in may and I miss the place a lot.
I think Jacob is in the bag lol. The vlogs I've watched I can't remember him drinking alcohol. He wanted to keep the cup
You can keep the cup, but you have to buy it and they give you a new one- not the one you drink from

Fun fact, that big statue you see as soon as you enter the hotel as well as the one on your lamp in the room is called a Menehune. They're mythological dwarf people known for their different powers / abilities!

I did bartend for a short period of time, but a good Zombie drink is no joke! They certainly don't slouch on the booze.
Every time someone orders one of the special drinks at Trader Sam’s, either an effect happens or the staff does something. Only went there once and had a blast
Have fun! I had my birthday lunch at Skipper Canteen last year and loved every minute of it. The food was really good too! I still need to check out Trader Sam's one day.

Man the advancement in animatronics technology is so impressive. Great seeing the kiddo! Haha almost everywhere that has a zombie drink it's strong some bars have a limit of 2...created to make you feel zombie-like if ya have enough of them lol

So jealous of the Trader Sam’s trip! I go to the one in Disneyland every time I go there but when I went to WDW the monorail wasn’t stopping there and I forgot it existed 😅

Love your adventures but I had to mute your time inside of It's A Small World because I did not want to spend the rest of the day humming that darn song from that ride.
Once you hear it, that song gets stuck in you head on endless replay.

I agree that sometimes its nice to put the camera down. Recently went to a concert and I told myself before I wasn’t going to film and only take a few pics and I definitely felt like I was living in the moment and enjoying it for myself more 🥰
