An incredible performance. I play guitar and sometimes I think I'm not too bad. Then I see something like this and realize I'm not very good at all. She's in a whole other universe: her ability just blows my mind. The casual observer has no idea what it takes to play like that. It takes a ton of talent and dedication to the instrument. Not to mention it's a great song. The Mamas & Papas were able to do what is called soaring harmonies. All I can say is, wow!
I agree she is good. However to be fair, search for: Still Got The Blues - Gary Moore (Naudo)

I grew up in California in the 60's and this was one of the great songs in that era! Brings back great memories and Gabriella adds her beautiful sound to the song👍

@@onyabikejoe7643 I thought the same thing about myself, then I got my first acoustic guitar and i tried it.. Few months later I learnt basic chords, strumming patterns and some easy fingerpicking and easy riffs.. I feel that progress for me is slow, but i really enjoy this moments, even if is bad day and I can't play anything :D Try it and you'll see :)

Oh, so beautifully played while taking me back to my teen years during the mid-1960's. Party's and girls and fumbling around in my '38 Oldsmobile sharing a bottle of Nederburg sparkling wine never going to get old, those times never ending until they actually do. Now at 77, I'm grateful for the memories and a young lady' playing guitar bringing back into view a time of magic before the world got serious. Big thanks for that and the memories I've found again.❤

Gabriella has a beautiful smile, but too often the smile seems forced, like someone off camera signs to her: Don’t forget to smile. She should smile only when she feels like it. It’s ok if she doesn’t smile often. She’s focused on her playing and is charming even without a smile.

Next to the original, this is THE best arrangement I've ever heard. Just WOW!! As someone who grew up in the 60's and 70's (and also played guitar) this was one of my all-time favourite tunes. Beautiful picking and what incredibly beautiful tone. Your finger-picking technique is simply flawless. The late, great John Phillips would be proud. You are an incredible talent, and a beautiful young lady to boot!. Keep up the great work Gabriella :)

This is absolutely gorgeous, and captures not only everything that thrilled me about this iconic song when it first came out, but celebrates its connection to so-called "classical music". When I was that young, I only listened to the latter (I was an unknowledgeable kid), but hearing this song on the radio, with its "suspended 4-3 in choral harmony" (didn't know it was called that then) opened my ear to all I was missing. I have to learn to play this (I play not-very-skilled classical guitar (am organist)). Will check out your tab! Brava!

One of those songs that take me way back to days when I was young. Skipped classes many times and this song was always on the radio. That smile kills me! Gabriella must be one of the most beautiful women in the whole wide world.

My dad was born in 51, and in 1969 he was working as an apprentice mechanic in LA when the Manson murders happened. He calls that day the end of the American Dream, because people’s attitudes were already pretty shitty leading up to that point, and it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. This song always reminds him of that day, and the newspaper with Sharon on the front of it.
Now this song reminds me of it, too. Great cover, it’s a beautiful song, just a bit sad for me.

I have heard some people say that women are less likely to be accomplished guitar players, and I am always dumbfounded when I hear this. Look at Nancy Wilson, Indigo Girls, Julia Fordham and, yes, Gabriella, just to name a few. Beautifully played! I could easily put a band together of some of the musicians I have found on TH-cam, including Gabriella, RockCloe, Juliette Jade, etc. and have a deeper, richer, more accomplished and sophisticated sound than anyone I’ve played with. I love watching these videos. It is so inspiring to me and my daughters! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and dedication!
