I like the idea of a set budget for each kid. Instead of trying to make sure every kid gets the same amount of gifts. I think kids need to accept that they are not going to be treated the same and always get the same things or the same amount.

also have a 13 yo girl who isn’t into trendy stuff. mostly she asked for clothes and a snack crate from like universal yums. got her those plus makeup, apple gift card for her ipad, a game for her switch (stardew valley), a tamagotchi because i think she’ll love it, some plushies, and some pins for her backpack.
Those sounds so great! We are HUGE stardew fans, I hope she loves it!

As someone with very sensitive skin and a lot of allergies I love the Vanicream face wash! Same with moisturizer. I use the huge tub of vanicream moisturizer. You get a lot for $12.99. Best I’ve used!

Ahhh, I always love your gift guides, Rainbow. I was beginning to think you were too busy being pregnant to do this, this year 😂. I have 8 grandchildren and my 11 year old grandson and one of my 8 year old granddaughters are on the atypical side of kids those ages interests. It’s great to see things that aren’t trendy dolls or nerf guns etc. Just because you asked, this year we’re buying the 11 year old boy a Naruto Ramen restaurant diorama, which he will both display and play with 😄, a ton of anime graphic novels and a highland cow stuffed toy/pillow (boy loves highland cattle 🤷🏻♀️). And the 8 year old girl is getting a handmade “mouse hotel” which is housed in a mini suitcase. Difficult to explain, but basically it’s a small scale dolls house to accommodate the little felt mice she collects. We commissioned it from an Etsy seller and it is adorable! I love that we get the opportunity to buy them interesting, non run of the mill stuff. Looking forward to binging the rest of the videos 😊. Have a wonderful Christmas x

I always love watching your Christmas videos. My 13 year old son is kind of nerdy as well and plays Star Wars Legion. I’ll have to check out that brand of paintbrushes.

Legion is an amazing game, the citadel brushes we got for the kids are really decent mid range brushes as far as quality and price goes. I recommend them
Everything you shared is so lovely! I am sure your daughter will be thrilled with all her gifts. I have super sensitive skin, and the Burts Bees Sensitive Skin Cleanser is all I can use, so hopefully it works out for your daughter. My 14 year old daughter is also homeschooled and not into trends either. She asked for black colored pencils (because she used hers up), "comfy" cargo pants, and Garfield comic books. She also loves the Warriors series. I also purchased for her one of those sitting pillows for her bed because she reads so much, handmade minky sheets and pillow cases from someone here in Alberta, one of those DIY miniature dollhouse kits- hers is a cat coffee garden, new stationary and a monogram wax seal kit because she and her best friend that moved away faithfully correspond with one another, and lastly an inflatable Kayak that I got on clearance at the end of the season at Walmart. She discovered kayaking while at summer camp and fell in love with it.

This is so sweet! I have a 13 year old that I wish could be friends with your daughter. They are very similar lol. She is young at heart to buy for and very sweet with very unique and sweetly nerdy interest lol. I bought her a mini backpack last year upon your suggestion and she has indeed toted that thing with her absolutely everywhere lol but instead of makeup like the norm, it carries books, squishville squishmallows or tsum tsums notebooks and whatever else 😂😂😂
Haha I love when we find eachother in these spaces and it seems like such a good match! The mini backpack is such a winner! My daughter packs around so many little bits but yes, always books haha

Cool! My kids don’t have TH-cam. They would also never watch because they love Christmas and don’t want to spoil their surprises.
Looks like you really lowered your $750 per child budget now that you have two more kids.

Last year was a special year where we did a last big hurrah for the older two before our family changed. Some years we have a much bigger budget and some years it’s more average (for us) like this🤷🏻♀️ I don’t think I could have spent that much this year if I tried because I don’t like to just buy for the sake of it if they don’t need/want something. (However their stockings were way more than normal this year 🫣😅)
