During the carebear stare, where did all the other bears come from? Maybe modern artists are giving the "extras" to life. Idk. I haven't seen the movie since childhood. And I dont have any memories of the tv cartoon if there was one.
But oh joyful day, this is making me genuinely happy!

I loved this! I adore the care bears i grew up watching the original movie over and over and collected the bears and when I had my first cancer surgery I came home to a giant surprise bear (my favourite) waiting for me that my husband brought me and we watched the movie together when I got the all clear so it's like care bears have been on a journey with me!

Champ bear was my favorite when I was growing up. I had a lot of my moms Care Bears from her growing up and she had a lot of those in the stuffy version.

I feel like alot of people rn are spiraling because of bad news. Maybe im just taking more notice because I got told on Easter my long term boyfriend (5 years) is moving 14+ hours away and i have to stay and finish school. Not to invalidate you just seems like tis the season for bad news and spiralling.

The work of heart bear came out when I was little (im 25 now). It was special because it was scented. If I remember it smelled almost like froot loops or zebra stripe gum.
My favorite was and always will be Share Bear. Don't know if they brought her into the new design. She was purple with lollipops on her tummy.

I love these so much, especially work of heart bear (or was it art?) I want that one SO bad lol! I'm glad my daughter has my same love for care bears. She watches the new cartoon on tv and the old movies I used to watch. The cousins were my favorite too!

Care bears first started back in the 80s. They had a granny bear, and baby hugs and tugs that were the first extender set they came out with after the original 8
