Dimitra Vasileiadou it always really makes me uncomfortable when I hear someone call a gay man “adorable”. It’s sort of like how women get called pretty instead of being called talented or funny or something else. Gay men are just known for being “cute” because they’re gay and “innocent”. I’m sure nothing rude is usually meant by saying it, but it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. That’s just me though, Idol Rocks could just be homophobic.

I have just watched the movie for the first time last night and I can't believe I've never heard of it before until now. It's such a beautiful little movie. Kristen Wiig is fantastic in it and Bill Hader is just incredible, I love him so freaking much.

I'm obsessed with this movie but I'm trying to figure out their age. They haven't seen each other for ten years and it seems like the last fight had to do with the charges that were against his teacher. Did they not have that fight until they were in their mid 20's? It seemed like their last conversations were about high school. I assumed the fight occurred right after the end of high school and they were now about 28.
I thought they stopped seeing each other about at 20-21, and when they meet again they are about 30-31. I imagined Milo didn't exactly have a fight with Maggie, but he was more resentful to her, which is why he didn't talk to her for years. Now that I think about it, their mother probably didn't do anything about the teacher's affair, which is why Maggie hates her and Milo still loves her. At what age do people finish high school in the US ?

Bill Hader was tremendous in this movie, its a shame it wasn't more advertised or it would have recieved a lot more awards.

5 years later and he has a hit tv show on HBO with two going on three seasons. hit talent and character are unreal. so proud of him
