Informative video Sean. Thanks for the information. I recently finished studying Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, JP Morgan, Carnegie and Edison. What they had in common was they could see around the corner. We might as well embrace the technology. trains replaced boats, electricity replaced kerosene, cars replaced horses, cell phones replaced wall phones..... it's here and it's not going any where. It's best to figure out how to ethically take advantage of it. I think creating the outline is a tremendous head start in getting your thoughts organized.

My thoughts exactly on what books ChatGPT could help with. Made one 'would you rather' questions book and a phrases and expressions book so far. Going to try it with jokes also. It takes some work to make ChatGPT write witty questions and it editing, rephrasing and otherwise altering the results is still needed afterwards but still faster than starting from zero.

Thanks for this video! I've watched a number of other videos on this topic and just felt like publishers were being led down a path that was going to end in account termination. This makes me actually want to give ChatGPT a shot, now knowing that it can be paired with these other tools. I, too, suspected that Amazon was going to begin using some sort of AI-detection if they aren't already.
Why would they care how the book was written?
If anything, it's more likely Amazon is going to come up with some kind of AI software to analyze quality rather than the software used to generate the text.
@@SeanDollwetHi Sean, If the AI generated content is factual and well written why would Google or Amazon penalize your account. That doesn't make sense. Why would Google or Amazon care if the content is AI Generated if it provides value to the end user?
@@RickyHarper101 look online. Google has already come out as recently as a week or 2 ago saying they will not be penalizing AI generated content.
As long as the content offers a real usability factor for their users. Which makes sense.

All of the tools except GPT have a significant cost added together. Interestingly, Google incorporates AI in email generation for Gmail and supposedly has their own competitor AI to GPT,, and KDP & Google both use AI to scan content, so it's a little hypocritical to be harsh on those utilizing AI for blog or book content while they use for themselves to scan vs solely humans. We will see as things are getting more embedded with AI that it'll almost be ubiquitous. Thanks for the video.

Why does book beam vS Publisher rocket have different keyword search analysis?
That is a bunch of lies! I made a text in ChatGPT, transfored it manually, got it through quillbot AND Grammarly and guess what?!?! originality AI says 100% AI
I had the same result. 100% AI however I did everything the same way as in the video.

Sean already says that you should fact check ChatGPT output but this needs emphasizing. ChapGPT makes mistakes all the time and it is out of date. If you are writing about anything after late 2021, ChatGpt does not have the current data.

Those A.I. detection tools aren't official. Sometimes human written content comes back as a.i. misspelling a word or 2 will make it come back as 90 percent human.
But, that's not reliable nor advised.

I completely disagree with your conclusion. AI written books are qualitatively much better than human written and Amazon prefers quality. There would be no good reason in the world to derank AI books. And by the way Google in not even dreaming to penalize AI content. The future is AI. Future writers will have to learn to use AI to write best content than competitors. It has always been like this with any technological revolution and it will be also with AI
Apart from all the legit points you made, in the last days i was asking myself more and more if we are already beyond the point of it beeing possible to detect AI-contend. I already use it for my new books, i have even let Chat GPT 4 write whole chapters. And when i put them in different AI contend detectors they tell me its human written. Not sure why i get other results than Sean, maybe cause i write with AIPRM plugin where you can switch the writing style from Chat GPT to funny, informative and so on. There are also plugin that Chat GPT mimics human writing.
Also if i put the material in plagiat scanner, no problem. Scanner says unique contend. With GPT 4 online, it may already be over in most cases that you can 100% if its AI or not.
@@Bhavyo I fully agree. I want to add that amazon is a customer centric company and they will just penalize plagiarisms and bad quality. They are never gonna penalize high quality book who ever wrote them because they are interested i. Sales driven by excellent customer experience
In this moment no human can pair chatgpt and AI in general in content creation and the gap is going to increase exponentially in just few months
@@Bhavyo I would try however to not copy directly from the A.I. , rephrasing is important or mix and matching, because if another person uses a similar prompt, then the AI or ChatGPT will provide a similar answer. Then you have people with very similar articles , posts or books. Also AI detectors will eventually get more sophisticated. I've heard rumors that at some point AI will have to keep a public database of everything they written so upcoming AI detectors will just take a look into those Databases and know exactly which AI you used , when and even your requests/ prompts.

About databases and stuff - at the moment nobody knows as everything is quite fresh and new, but from my perspective sounds unlikely.
AI wont be like Chat GPT is now. Soon you will have your own AI locally on your computer. i would be surprised if they can really organize it in a way that they always know what every AI on earth has written. How many AI will we have in 1 year, in 10 years? 10.000, 1 Million, 500 million? T
here is already this Alpaca AI project, which is on a level like GPT-3.5, very small in data and it will be affordable. At the moment would be like 600$. But the prices will go down extremeley quick. 2, 3 years ago the costs to train a GPT-3 modell were millions, so in 1 year it will probably be down to a few dollars.
i also dont think its clear how amazon and other big players will deal with AI. At the moment there are books on amazon who are clearly labelled as AI generated and amazon does nothing against it. So at the moment, they dont seem to care.
it could be that amazon does it the way they like to do it very much, e.g. with the purchased reviews. They do little or nothing, unless there is a public outcry or the media pounce on the issue. if their reputation could suffer, they become active, as long as nothing happens in the media, they are happy about the revenues they earn with the AI content.
I agree with you. The trick is to use ChatGPT to critic what it wrote out to actually get the best. It's easy as prompting it to critique what it spits out and then put out a better version.
