I cried the entire concert when they were in vegas. they were my fave band when i was little and i still love them in my teen year especially new kids on the block
Nothing like the spice girls will ever happen again. This magic is not so easy to re-create. Everything needs to end but I really hope the will come back together for another tour. I will love you forever cos you changed my entire life, I am grateful.
The Five Girls whose the World fallen in love with 14 years ago... you've Changed So Many lives Girls, you've made so many peoples Happy and Confident. Never forget this, Never! I am Proud of you Spice Girls, Geri, Emma, Mel c, Mel b and Victoria GodBless You Love and Peace From Saudi Arabia
uh actually; you should check what she says about it now. In an interview with Mel C and Emma on Alan Carr's Chattyman she was talking about the musical and how emotional she got when the cast sang 'goodbye' .... she said she felt so guilty for leaving, sitting there and listening to this heartbreaking song, realizing more than ever they wrote it for her. "The times when we would play about The way we used to scream and shout We never dreamt you'd go your own sweet way"
@Sunshinesimmons uhh actually. She wrote part of the song in 1998, and this song was released in 1998, although I don't think she was ever credited for her contribution. The song is not really dedicated to her but everyone always took for granted it was about her... the song was included in their 2000 album Forever, but it wasn't a single from it. It was just included there, 2 years later.
the original goodbye when geri and emma write it is all bout relationship ending in 1997. but when geri leave the group in 1998 the co writer of Spice girl change it and its all bout on geri when she leave the group
vadjula wakaru no that’s not correct. The Spice Girls originally wrote goodbye about the 1996 dunblane massacre in 1997 when Geri was still in the group but they changed it to be about Geri leaving during heavy rewrites in 1998. I read it in a magazine at the time
well aside form Spice UP Your Life its almost like a story telling the wya they did this although 2 songs were moved but chronologically wise they did the song line up based on when they started to when Geri left and returned...
+tarjaenkeli At which part? I mean I don't really want to go through every part, but at least at 1:31 and 4:02 she looks like she's into it, and she's smiling.
I think Geri would've done well with the second verse - Mel C is backing in the harmony there so she can fall back on Sporty. All Geri does is some - not so good - harmony. Too bad, would've made the song a lot more even..

Their voices have improved so much!
I'm glad I can say I've been there and seen them performing live in London!! was a dream come true for me!!
When Victoria sings everyone screams aha
I love Emma's dress!
its' really cool that you can hear the entire audience singing with them
this is prolly their best memory they can look back in the future and tell their story

its better if geri will appear in the end of this song like in "let love lead the way" :)
its funny how all of them is standing and victoria is sitting untill she does her part lol
@NatGello Actually, when Geri departed, they made some major modifications to the song and it was heavily re-written.
Emma te amooo
yes, she says "Thank you London"
I couldn't have said it better.

Originally this song was wrote by all Spice Geri includes
the version of goodbye on the last day of tour in toronto was so emotional.. i cant find clear video of that :(
@Mendoza7523 that's a seat supposed to be
Geri actually wrote part of this song with the other girls before she left.
Vicky sat down during the beginning.
ye :)
In 3:14, what did Geri say? Thank u London? SOrry but i dont speak english correctly... :$
I feel bad for Geri too. But I think the other 4 decided they kept their lines. It would be nice to hear Geri sing at least a line.
Yes, now Geri sing Victoria's bridge in this song
é tão bonito quando o publico cantão juntos com a melaine c
on the third verse they should have pointed at geri
@lildevilangel1 Now you know how VIctoria feels when singing Wannabe haha.
i have a feeling they turn geri's mic off for most of the show.
DUDE! In LA Geri started singing Sportys line. But she did it again! Haha, just not as noticable.
Look at 4:37-4:38 haha.
:D
That is pretty funny haha!
Does anyone know the date of this show? And is this the same version as the Jimmy Lo HQ version?
What happened to Geri? She is just like "-_-"
+tarjaenkeli At which part? I mean I don't really want to go through every part, but at least at 1:31 and 4:02 she looks like she's into it, and she's smiling.
That' she's going to sing some part?
tarjaenkeli i
Dnt think she should of even sung with the girls
Daniel Macwilliam yes

vancover
this Geri geri don't sing in the time of Mel C
i just dont like the attitude of mel c on this act, becuase she should've given geri a chance to sing the song..even for the last time...
i feel bad for geri since she didnt have anything to sing except chores.
ye :)
