- MULTI HOOPING JACKPOT!!! In this video, I will show you how to do multi-hoop designs so that everything lines up perfectly every time. You can do it!
Have you ever tried to multi hoop? Did you have a hard time aligning the registration marks? CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO and you won't be worried about multihooping again! There are many ways to multihoop and this is one of the easiest!
This is Part 2 of the Multi hooping series! In the first video, I showed you how to multihoop properly and print out your template and hooping order.

THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN REQUESTED MANY TIMES! and now it is finally here. This is PART 2 of the series on multi hooping embroidery. In this video we are going to take the designs to the machine and line them up perfectly, for an awesome multi hooping design. Can you tell where the design was split? nope! it's perfect. You can do this too, just make sure you have everything set up properly and ready to go. Make sure you take everything step by step to make sure you don't miss any embroidery steps - each step of the process is important.
I can offer 2 bits of advice: start off with a simple embroidery design and get the hooping order, color order and registration correct, then you can move up to a more complicated design.
PATIENCE....be patient and master a design before moving on. hoop as many times as you need to. be precise. get everything straight and perfectly placed.
Now your smaller machine will not hold you back - you can stitch anything with your knowledge of multi hooping!

Sue, loving all that you do in your very educational videos but I cant stand to see you struggle with the sticky-back stabilizer. In order to keep the sticky-back stabilizer from sticking to everything is to first hoop it with the paper backing still on it (blue grid side up); then use a pin to score the blue grid with an X diagonally from corner to corner and then pull off the grid paper leaving the sticky part (sticky side up) exposed so that you can stick the fabric down.

The placement is the most important part of hooping, so you must be precise if you want a good finish
This is GOLD!!! My poor trust Bernina Artista 180 with its "tiny" 6x7 inch hoop may be able to do all those larger designs I drool over!!!!! Yay!!!

I was like, wait a min, does Sue have a "Triple X" tattoo, kept watching and there it was again. You go girl! and thanks for these awesome videos, I am learning tons with this software.
I make very lightweight items that cannot be washed and I don't want want any sticky stabilizer. Instead, I have found the temporary adhesive spray very useful. I press (no steam) the piece after emroidering between a folded sheet of "baking paper" ( it is brownish and one can bake on it up to aboput 250°C). This removes any trace of the spray.

Thank you for this video. I have a tray cloth design that goes over 4 hoops. I tried it once before but it came out all skew. I'm going to give it another try.

I learned this 20 yrs ago with Embird and lot different. But I can tell you it would be easier for you to hoop your flimoplast then score in the center and remove the middle of the paper. Easier on your hoop too.

I mean it has maybe a limitation of digitizing a desing in software?
I don't think there is a limitation, although your machine may have issues if the design is too large. Try it on a large design and split it according to your largest hoops size.

Would you happen to know why registration marks show up on my hooping files on Hatch, but then only one singular registration mark shows up on my machine when I go to stitch? The first hoop file shows about 5 registration marks when I view the file on Hatch and on my computer, but then only 1 mark shows up on my stitch file on my machine. I can't find answers anywhere :/
Ok Sue you are my go to gal ! I have a question. Can you multi-hoop ITH Larger projects? Such as Wallets?
I don't think you can, it would be too difficult to get everything to line up.

Sharon Carter Sure, it is possible multi hooping in PE Design 10, you need to use the positioning sheets as an aid for layout see page 183 the tutorial 9-2 designs multi-position hoops in your online manual. I have tried and digitized one (not the tutorial) alone and untrained using PE Design Next (I just upgraded to PE Design 10) but I have yet to stitch it out. Just have a go is what I would suggest

Where is the first video
After embroidering, I have difficulty removing the sticky stabilizer from my project. Also, it seems kind of stiff. Any suggestions?
Yes, I don't really like the sticky stabilizer either. If you are doing a shirt, you could iron on some soft fusible backing to cover up the sticky stuff.

you can multi hoop on any machine - it's the software that will set it up for you.

Will the registration marks mess up tshirts when they get removed?
no they won't mess up anything! the registration marks are longer stitches, so they are easier to remove.

Every time I use sticky stabilizer my needle gets all gummed up. Any helpful hints?
I don't use it for that reason - it makes such a mess.
