What a great conversation among intelligent brothers. Eric put it best regarding the transactional interactions and Joe “hit the mail on the head” when he stated things don’t sit as “congruent”. “You want to inspect what you expect”. Are you able to give a man “different perspectives and peace”. Also, he said stop leading with money. You might only get the ones who like you for the lifestyle you can provide.
These gentlemen are here today due to the mentors they had in their lives. Greatness begets Greatness. If you are in a place of success, grab a young brother under your wing. If you are on the path of success seek out a someone who is where you want to be.
I agree. I think that is part and parcel why many black women are seemingly thriving in certain spaces of life. Mentorship. A plethora of older black women who lead or led programs targeting young black women. Much is equally needed, if not more for the young black men. Mentorship that is there for them very young and follows them well into their 20s. Mentorship is powerful.
I don’t understand why we downplay the amount of time Athletes and entertainers put in as well. Kobe was always in the gym. Drake is always in the studio.
The time athletes put in, relative to income earned is the issue. athletes work for a season. Each game lasts about an hour. practice sessions lasts what? 4 hours or so? Yet they earn millions of dollars. Do a professional athlete actually work the equivalent of 40+.hours a week? So a woman dating an athlete will have access to his wealth, as well as a high amount of his time, due to how short the season is. Regular guys working normal jobs must work much longer for far less..No one is dismissing the work they put in. They are pointing out the differences in lifestyle.
@W2 I totally agree that they are worth the money. But that's a completely different conversation. This conversation has to do with womens unrealistic expectations regarding what it takes to reach the pinnacle of success and the time investment required for the average guy vs. A professional athlete. These women expect regular guys to be high earners while also having the an abundance of time to spend with them romantically. Only professional athletes can pull that off. Regular guys working as attorneys, accountants, engineers, doctors etc. Are going to have to put in 65-70 hour work weeks to earn $250-$300 thousand dollars annually. Many Women are clueless of the demands that goes into earning that kind of money.
@@robbiea1482 Where did you get your 100 hour a week figure for athletes? No athlete puts in that kind of time mastering their skillset. Athletics is physically demanding. The human body can't sustain that level of punishment and still be effective.

I kid you not. I wore a suit to go to church then I hit the mall afterwards. I will say this, people respect and turn their heads to a man in a suit!! The ladies love the suit! Even the guys love the suit! Everyone that day had their eyes on me! I felt weird because I never had this kind of attention on me before. I kinda liked it’

That woman that brings peace!! Man o Man!!!! I almost had the huxtable type relationship. She was the doctor, I’m the lawyer. We clicked spiritually, financially. However, she was a child emotionally. Severally lacking in emotional intelligence and had no desire to change. I almost settled and went down that road. Thankfully I followed my gut and ended it. But she was the woman that had no peace within herself and it translated to our relationship! Proverbs 21:9/19; 25:24 and 15:17... I refuse to entertain any female that isn’t at peace!

@@Ava_sava that's not selfish at all. That's probably the wisest thing you can do. I listen to a podcast run by a relationship therapist where she records one time sessions with real couples and I find a multitude of gems on there. Some of those couples didn't make it but my relationship is much better for it.
When a woman says they want a man who is a leader, she means she wants a man who can lead their partnership in a direction that is beneficial for the both. What is missing from this conversation is the realization of the partnership. Sometimes I feel men feel like leading a woman means to insert the woman into their own life instead of leading the way to build a life together. Big difference. And to lead means to know the strengths and weaknesses of both parties as well as the dreams of both to effectively lead the relationship to greatness. This is what women want and mean when they say they want a leader. And a woman who receives this type of leadership and partnership will effortlessly and happily be led by her man. 😌

I agree so much with the points made about “the female version of misogyny”. Because femininity is so different from masculinity, we don’t associate their condescension with toxic words. Femininity is a little more passive or indirect vs masculinity which is direct and stern. So when a man is being toxic, it sounds bluntly harsh or even flatout improper. Whereas, women can do the same thing but with a more positive sounding spin on it. And then you don’t notice what she’s doing, which is to essentially behave in a domineering way.
Woman: My requirements for men are 6 feet, 6 figure$, and 6-pack abs Man: ................ok........... Man: My woman must be dress size 2-4 and weigh less than..... Woman: How dare you shame women with your toxic masculinity! Misogynist!!

There is a lot more of them that people realize, but many chicks prefer thugs and street dudes instead. Too often blue collar and college educated men aren't look at as Alpha or dominant enough. Many sisters like street dudes because they give off a different masculine energy and fast cash, but it comes at a heavy price.

Hey brotha, I love this episode so much. You guys touch on so many truths. I used to think that I need a woman to fulfill this checklist of traits. Like she has to be sexy, be able to dance, be good in bed, be creative, etc. Etc. I just turned 26 and the older I get, I find myself making the same realizations as these two guys. What I now want from a woman is peace, balance, and somebody who makes me a better man. And by improving yourself you naturally attract higher quality women. Mental health and healing from trauma isn't talked about enough either and I appreciate that you guys go into it a ton. Spiritual work changes your life. Thanks for making such great content. I'm an Asian guy and I find myself relating to your content so much.

Facts a lot of modern women want a tradition man but they arent traditional women and often you'll see those modern women shame the "pick me" women. Yet the "pick me" women are the traditional ones.
"Pick me" is different than traditional. I have always been very traditional, but when I was single, I never felt like I was a "pick me" woman. Traditional is more following established gender roles based in my culture....whereas I associate "pick me" chicks as seeking acceptance and it not being a genuine part of their belief system.

I can relate to the first clip in the beginning; I’m a photographer and I hit it off with a girl last Saturday in a museum by happenstance where I was doing the photoshoot! It’s incredible how life takes care of you when you handle your business as a man.
I absolutely loved this episode. Spoke on a lot of things and I definitely have a appreciation for guys speaking their truth and what it is they really want. The key is balance in a relationship and understanding that both partners need to be happy in a relationship for it to work. I am definitely behind the learning the masculine language and understanding a view point of men. Why not learn what your possible partner could want in life to be happy
Reminds of the business-career program Year Up in Dallas. Great program I was paired with a coach and mentor and it paid off. I learned to strengthen my brand and begin my career journey. I love to see black and brown men and women (and other minorities) leveling up. Representation is needed. 💯
As a feminine woman you should never approach a man once you do that you become the hunter. Make yourself been seen by being in his sight. Smile and flirt with your eyes. Let him know it’s ok to approach you. If a man doesn’t approach you after you have flirted it’s only two reasons: Your not his type or he is in a relationship and doesn’t want to cheat.
It would help to smile at him as you look at him, but also try to separate yourself from your friends if you have them their with you. I would talk to a women if she did that and she would not be where her friends are. Because a lot of times, her friends could influence her decision on you

There's actually a 3rd reason. Energy level and mood. There's been times where I've been out grocery shopping for example. I'll make eye contact with a woman, I find her attractive, but I'm just too tired or irritable to conjure up the energy and charisma to make the approach. I work 65 hours a week. When I leave work and I'm running errands alot of times I'm just too exhausted to approach. I'm focused on getting what I need to get and heading home to a nice hot shower. That's when a women taking the initiative can be a huge help. It doesn't have to be much. Just saying "hi how are you"? is enough.

Me personally I dont want a 6 figure man, but he has to have some figures. Money does not matter to me for real. I want time, peace, spiritual growth and a man who can teach me something that I can take and flip, so we both are at greatnes and we can relax together. I live in ohio and the men here are a dime a dozen. They play to many games, dont know how to communicate, got to many woman and dont know what loyalty is. I feel like time is wasted here so I grind and build myself up spiritually. Maybe one day but for right now I will keep watching videos learning what's required of me to have a good man and putting it into play while focused on my purpose.

He talked about how most women romance novels are based on the idea of the Beast which is essentially the Alpha Male but is tamed by the innocent woman. I think that a lot of women live that fantasy, like they're going to take tame the ape. But again, that's a fantasy. The grind is still the focus, though that doesn't mean neglecting family, it's still the focus. Her job at that point is to turn the house into the home so that you can focus on the burden of breadwinner and protector.

You’re right! Remember the saying “Men want a woman that’s only bad for them and women want a man that’s only good for them”? Woman want to “cure” or tame the bad boy. Gotta be honest when this man is alone the interview quality goes up 250%. Just the vibe. Its like when alone, he tries to make it a more serious vibe like a good dateline interview, a more professional classic vibe, but still fresh with some laughs. When other dude is there, its like hes thinking "this needs more jokes and more laughing, because this is a podcast, and a youtube channel"...except it doesn't though.
The crazy thing about some MGTOW content talking about the 50% divorce rate is they say why would you do something with a 50% chance of failure, and then they talk about starting a business as though it doesn't also have a 90% failure rate. For some reason it's totally legit to these guys to be an entrepeneur (with a 90% failure rate) but a 50% marriage rate is unacceptable and like throwing yourself into failure. Interesting to hear his explanation of why that 50% divorce rate is inaccurate

I am not the type of guy that yells or screams because I can’t yelled or scream. It’s rude and I don’t have that kind of courage to do that. But I am direct and like to be direct at all times. There is a lot more of them that people realize, but many chicks prefer thugs and street dudes instead. Too often blue collar and college educated men aren't look at as Alpha or dominant enough. Many sisters like street dudes because they give off a different masculine energy and fast cash, but it comes at a heavy price.

Hey brotha, I love this episode so much. You guys touch on so many truths.
I used to think that I need a woman to fulfill this checklist of traits. Like she has to be sexy, be able to dance, be good in bed, be creative, etc. Etc.
I just turned 26 and the older I get, I find myself making the same realizations as these two guys. What I now want from a woman is peace, balance, and somebody who makes me a better man. And by improving yourself you naturally attract higher quality women.
Mental health and healing from trauma isn't talked about enough either and I appreciate that you guys go into it a ton. Spiritual work changes your life.

Facts a lot of modern women want a tradition man but they arent traditional women and often you'll see those modern women shame the "pick me" women. Yet the "pick me" women are the traditional ones.
"Pick me" is different than traditional. I have always been very traditional, but when I was single, I never felt like I was a "pick me" woman. Traditional is more following established gender roles based in my culture....whereas I associate "pick me" chicks as seeking acceptance and it not being a genuine part of their belief system.

As a feminine woman you should never approach a man once you do that you become the hunter. Make yourself been seen by being in his sight. Smile and flirt with your eyes. Let him know it’s ok to approach you. If a man doesn’t approach you after you have flirted it’s only two reasons: Your not his type or he is in a relationship and doesn’t want to cheat.

It would help to smile at him as you look at him, but also try to separate yourself from your friends if you have them their with you. I would talk to a women if she did that and she would not be where her friends are. Because a lot of times, her friends could influence her decision on you

There's actually a 3rd reason. Energy level and mood. There's been times where I've been out grocery shopping for example. I'll make eye contact with a woman, I find her attractive, but I'm just too tired or irritable to conjure up the energy and charisma to make the approach. I work 65 hours a week. When I leave work and I'm running errands alot of times I'm just too exhausted to approach. I'm focused on getting what I need to get and heading home to a nice hot shower. That's when a women taking the initiative can be a huge help. It doesn't have to be much. Just saying "hi how are you"? is enough.

Me personally I dont want a 6 figure man, but he has to have some figures. Money does not matter to me for real. I want time, peace, spiritual growth and a man who can teach me something that I can take and flip, so we both are at greatnes and we can relax together. I live in ohio and the men here are a dime a dozen. They play to many games, dont know how to communicate, got to many woman and dont know what loyalty is. I feel like time is wasted here so I grind and build myself up spiritually. Maybe one day but for right now I will keep watching videos learning what's required of me to have a good man and putting it into play while focused on my purpose.

1:00 When Eric made the train analogy and Hafeez expounded on it, I thought about one of my favorite clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson. He talked about how most women romance novels are based on the idea of the Beast which is essentially the Alpha Male but is tamed by the innocent woman. I think that a lot of women live that fantasy, like they're going to take tame the ape. But again, that's a fantasy. The grind is still the focus, though that doesn't mean neglecting family, it's still the focus. Her job at that point is to turn the house into the home so that you can focus on the burden of breadwinner and protector.

You’re right! Remember the saying “Men want a woman that’s only bad for them and women want a man that’s only good for them”? Woman want to “cure” or tame the bad boy. Men want to see her bad side “Lady in the streets freak in the sheets”.
Hence why men don’t like finding out their pure woman has been bad for every man on the block. And woman don’t like a man too friendly, hence why men are sometimes told “you’re too nice” as they are rejected.

Gotta be honest when this man is alone the interview quality goes up 250%. Just the vibe. Its like when alone, he tries to make it a more serious vibe like a good dateline interview, a more professional classic vibe, but still fresh with some laughs. When other dude is there, its like hes thinking "this needs more jokes and more laughing, because this is a podcast, and a youtube channel"...except it doesn't though.
The crazy thing about some MGTOW content talking about the 50% divorce rate is they say why would you do something with a 50% chance of failure, and then they talk about starting a business as though it doesn't also have a 90% failure rate. For some reason it's totally legit to these guys to be an entrepeneur (with a 90% failure rate) but a 50% marriage rate is unacceptable and like throwing yourself into failure.

I am not the type of guy that yells or screams because I can’t yelled or scream. It’s rude and I don’t have that kind of courage to do that. But I am direct and like to be direct at all times. I told a girl that she needed to speak up because I couldn’t hear her therefore I couldn’t understand her. She took it the wrong way and left. I honestly was being nice to say what I said. I would never be rude unless someone is rude first
