It was this story about her head injury causing her mental issues that made me forever be against the death penalty and revenge in general. The human brain is just a computer and it can become glitched. All the death penalty is, is revenge. Revenge makes people feel better, but thats it. It not actual justice.

The execution wasn't horrific for Ms Plaice, who died immediately, but for the execution team and witnesses. Seeing someone die so violently isn't somerhing you would easily forget or be at peace about.

In my opinion: I once saw a gang of ants attack a downed wasp. Perhaps that's why I can be so mean at times.
Afterwards when my parents were going to church, a flying bug hit the windshield & splattered it's bowels within the field of vision.
I ask if we should pray for the dieing creature to my dad's replay was, "don't be silly it's a bug" & used the windshield washing feature to liquidate the bug's remains.
Sometimes the purpose of living is merely consequential to the value.
Whether or not someone gets to live is entirely up to the subject observer & all of their courses of action.
It's not a matter of resting in peace, it's living with it.

Or kill multiple people. A lover's fit killing would probably get you life with parole in 20-35 years, probably the lessor amount if it was a woman who could prove abuse.
