This review reminds me of the Simon Peg film, the worlds end 😊- I dated someone living in Grantham about 20 years ago for a few years, watching this brought back some great memories of some very fun nights out in Grantham , we use to go in the beehive and the pig and always end up in the Tolle at some point 👍
Thanks for a great review of our wonderful town? If only our local community thought the same. Keep up the great work & your always welcome back. Sending regards Andy
There used to be around a hundred pubs in Grantham yrs ago lol... Grantham has so much more history than its pubs but its nice to hear some positive comments about our town so cheers 🍻😁
That's why I do it! Hopefully this will convince a few people that its worth jumping on a train and giving a chance to! It really is a smashing little town!
Heading back to home town of Granthan from Australia. Haven't been there since 1987....good to see some that i remember and a few new ones. I guess a few would have disappeared aw well
Used to live in Grantham, and I did wonder why you left the Lord harrowby pub 2nd to last when you did the reindeer 1st! 😅. It is a better town than it gets credit for and I do enjoy visiting when I see my mates.
In all honesty the Issac has got a new Licencee, try again next time, Raindeer good pub, Lord Harrowby excellent pub for beers, White Lion I’ve heard of that one! (Excellent pub!) Nobody Inn always worth a visit
A lot of places these days have some kind of ramp or provision in place to ensure disabled access. I'll try and start asking when I visit places and stick that kind of info in as well.
Haha... I've been before a couple of times... just tried to keep the main 'chain' pubs like Spoons and the 'Lounge' one out of the route... I knew I'd only have time to get to the 15 if I wanted to make it to the train... 🍺

Haha, I wanted something that was kinda on the way back to the train station... but definitely regretted the walk in the rain 😂😭

A new licencee for that one is probably long overdue haha
The Angel n Royal is the oldest Inn... Think it dates back to 11th century 👍
It's such a stunning building! We definitely want to go and stay there one night!
Grantham in the early 2000's used to be great. Now? Where is everyone. Its just totally and utterly deserted - forsaken. Such a shame.
The church hosts the Grantham beer festival. Amazing inside.
Oh amazing! I'll have to try and get along to the next one
think you were just leaving when i walked in the blue pig as the guy near the fire was asleep when i walked in
Hahahaha... to be fair, I think I could have quite easily stayed in there and had a sleep by that fire too 🍺😂
Which ones of the 15 are OK for disabled people great video
