    I love Pink so that's lots of beautiful in that cup.

    Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed. My cup looks nice, but there's glitter stuck both on top and bottom. There is still nice a snowglobe effect but it could be better. I was convinced that the glitter was just too thick on the edges of the cup as there's not a single air bubble in there. I will take it apart and try to bang out those glitter clumps😅 Thank you!!!

    • @quatechiacreates

      Happy to help! It may also be that there's too much fine glitter in your mixture. Some people try and avoid fine glitter altogether... I just try and find a healthy balance 🤪

    I just finished one and having the same issue. I used water and glycerin mixture and thought the flow of my glitter was due to me not adding clear glue. This helps a lot.

    are you able to help me? i am degassing my tumbler right now but at the top it looks almost frothy and foamy??? is it just that many micro bubbles that need to go away? i used the water and glycerine mixture and this has never happened before.

    Hola. Saludos.. Es por eso que el liquido se sale por la parte de arriba? Por la cantidad de glitter alli atascados?. Gracias

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If glitter is coming out the top, your cup has a broken seal.

      Sometimes I hold it. Most of the time I prop it on boxes

    I bought some tumblers from hobby lobby and the seal around the rim of the cups leaked on all of them.. I tried to use uv resin to seal the rim, it didn't show signs of leaking anymore got put a little fluid then glitter and the rest of the fluid.. my tumblers have sat for almost 24-36 hours but the bubbles are still there and won't disappear.. am I doing something wrong?

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly, I don’t recommend working with tumblers that have broken seals. I have trust issues

  • @latricephillips9090
    @latricephillips9090 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    So mine isn’t getting stuck at the rim but at the bottom of the cup. When I turn it upside down the glitter floats up so it’s hard to add more solution.

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried using the small bottles with the precision tip to add fluid towards the end? It really helps push past the glitter that floats up.

  • @onrykiten
    @onrykiten 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I’ve had a few of mine that evaporated out after they were sealed. There was no sign of leaks at all. Is there a reason they would evaporate if there is no leak and they are sealed?

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your glitter isn’t completely saturated before sealing the tumbler the glitter will slowly absorb the fluid… leading to the appearance of less fluid in the cup. If that makes sense.

    Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. I have a question though. My glitter is sticking to the front of the tumbler. Do you think I just need to degas it a little longer ? Thanks

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No problem! Does it always stay stuck to the front? Or does it move when shaken but settles back to the front? I’ve experienced glitter settling on the sides and front when I use fine glitter.

  • @jeffsgyrl11
    @jeffsgyrl11 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    When the customer gets the tumbler and it has rested in say a cabinet for awhile, will it separate like that? They’ll always need to shake it to get the snow globe effect??

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they'll always have to shake it to get it going. The thicker or slower the flow... the more aggressive they'll have to be to get it going. Hope that helps

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no! Could it be a chunky mix? The fine glitter in chunky mixes is usually the culprit.

    Does anyone have any tips on how to make sure the permanent vinyl doesn’t lift? I clean the snow globe tumbler with alcohol and let it dry before placing the vinyl but I still find some letters trying to lift. Please help! 😢

    • @quatechiacreates
      @quatechiacreates  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If your acrylic tumbler is clean, oil and lint free and you’re still getting lifting of your letters… it could be the vinyl? All permanent vinyl is not created equally. I use the brands Oracal and Cricut.

      I use my heat gun and heat for about 10-15 seconds waving it back and forth. Making sure not to leave it in one spot for two long. Press my vinyl down in place and have never had a issue.
