Dismiss is my single favorite track in the series and honestly, when I first played BBS on 2.5 and I realized that TerraNort was Ansem in 1 and the summoned the guardian I just couldn't contain myself, and then when you get to fairly fight him properly in ReMind data I loved him so much more, TerraNort is honestly my second favorite gillian in this series and this theme just has such a perfect oompf to it. This mix of the three variants is so great and mixed to damn well

Which is why in the end Ansem isn't using it. which means before the middle of the game (where Haynor attempts to dropkick Ansem), Terranort wasn't posessed again.

It makes the moment when he finally finishes that sentence he's been holding onto in KH3 really impactfull and the symbolism of Xehanort seeing his Terra's face when he does kinda symbolizes that he just answered the question Xehanort asked him when he became nothing more than a lingering soul surving on just will alone. He refused to give up because he had something he had to protect and that was more important to him than anything else.

(Honestly when you think about it Terra represent the flaw in Xehanort's philosophy he believed everyone would return to darkness but he never accounted for the power of the mind and soul behind the body and the heart for that is the very reason the keyblades attach themselves to the weilders soul and not their hearts, hearts are weak but the feelings they give make the soul strong, strong enough to keep fighting on no matter what. Roxas also kinda represented a flaw nobodies were meant to be husk but he inhibited the missing pieces of ventus and Sora's shared heart thus giving him his own heart and soul, a soul that picked up Xion's oblivion, dang the similarities between Roxas and Terra are crazy they lost so much but they kept on fighting. They truly are the deepest characters in the series. In a way they represent the strength of people. )

The Final Encounter: Aqua and Sora intervene and stop Terra-Xehanort in his tracks, demanding that he release her friend's heart, or she'll have no choice. Reminder: Terra-Xehanort's strength plus his Guardian proves too much for the both of them to handle as Aqua's knocked out and Sora exhausted, but not out of the fight just yet. The Climax: Aqua and Sora both get back into the fight, telling him she isn't done yet; she's handled the realm of darkness for a decade, and that no darkness would ever get in her way. Together, they would end Xehanort's rampage once and for all. His Heart Hasn't Been Extinguished Yet: Terra starts to fight back and take control of his body, using Xehanort's own Keyblade against him. Finale: With Sora's help, Terra regains control of his body and runs over to Aqua, seeing if she's okay. He asks her where Ven is, and Aqua tells both Sora and her reunited friend of his location. Sora suggests that Terra regroup at the tower with Riku and the King, while he and Aqua go to wake Ven. Terra understands and leaves Ven's care in their hands.
Ok at first i was like that slow transformation to terranort gets me hyped for what's about to come then i hear the entire track and think wow this guy has outdid himself with adding in the kdh3 music but as i see terra go back to normal as the ending comes around i remember how emotionally put to tears i was when we got him back in game, thanks man for helping me remember that beautiful reunion between him,aqua and ventus^^
Between Xehanort's intent on striking down everyone against Terra's rage, strength of his heart and willpower, there's not a single thing Terra will let happen to his friends while Xehanort's got control over him.
