- The Former Conservative MP called Boris ‘disingenuous’ and told him to stop playing games over Brexit.
The veteran MP had been sacked from the Tory Conservative party along with 20 of his colleagues after they sided with the opposition in an attempt to block a No Deal Brexit on October 31.
Mr Clarke wasted no time and told Boris exactly what he thought about him.
“I do think the Prime Minister, with the greatest respect, has a tremendous skill in keeping a straight face whilst he is being so disingenuous.”
His remarks prompted applause from opposition MPs but Boris remained unimpressed.
The PM’s bold rallying cry to go to the polls was rejected by MPs who claimed he was setting them a ‘trap’.
Only 298 MPs opted for an election - far short of the two thirds of MPs (434) he needed to get it through.

Ken Clarke telling it exactly as it is, Boris still acts like a child and that it's one big game.
The Tories voting for Iain Duncan Smith as their leader instead of Ken Clarke in 2001, purely because of their views on Europe, was a comically stupid decision and act of self harm.

So according to Ken Clarke we need additional time to discuss "a deal" when we have already had over three years to do so. Let us be frank, he does not want Brexit and never will....the hypocrisy of him calling Boris Johnson being disingenuous in incredible. The only person trying to keep a straight face is him.
