I see why you do, it’s simplistic and feels more LEGO-like but I personally prefer the new one, it makes Vader taller than other figs and allows the bottom to be separated from the top allowing a Return of the Jedi re-enactment, or just a battle damaged Vader. And covers the neck so you can’t see Vader’s neck from under the helmet, yes you could always use a black head but then to make him unmasked whilst allowing Vader’s actual face to be shown you need to replace the head. But it is really personal preference.
Star wars the clone wars had in my opinon really a lot of stuff going for it. I played a lot of lego games and remember all fondly but in terms of evolution of gameplay, this game is an overlooked gem by many.

Just realized that Darth Vader used Anakin’s animations in the original LEGO Star Wars game. For The Original Trilogy and The Complete Saga, they gave him his own set of animations. Either way, both make sense but Vader never moved like Anakin in most media.

I think we Lego should update the lightsaber mold they used for over 2 decades,i also think they should put some thinner white plastic inside the blade to give it a better look
I recently got the complete saga on my Xbox one and I was super worried it wouldn’t be as fun and amazing as it was when I was like 5 but I ran around breaking chairs and forcing the lamps and I had so much fun. Partly the reason was your vids, they gave me so much nostalgia and I went ahead and bought the game. Thank you man I hadn’t played any Lego game and now I’m super excited for the skywalks saga! Lightsaber Combat sucks after The Complete Saga. Just button mashing and no combos but at least you can throw your lightsaber. Hopefully The Skywalker Saga gets it done right. Btw, I like Vader holding his lightsaber with one hand. Doesn't seem right two-handed because one-handed is how I see him mostly. And in the original game, Vader uses Anakin's animations.
