Lure Fishing for PIKE on the Norfolk Broads!

My first time lure fishing for pike on the Norfolk broads! I headed ups for a couple of days to fish with Robbie northman from savage gear, the fishing was INCREDIBLY tough but we managed to grind out a few fish!

Well, at least you catch something, with us the water is 12 degrees warm, did not have a bite this Sunday at the Deadbaite! Had left the spinning rods at home! Best regards!

Do you ever get problems using braid with a bait caster reel buddy?

best to use braid on casters imo

20lb test braid is fine on baitcaster reels. Below that ya can get some line dig with bigger baits.

Not the best way to put a pike back, just throwing it from a height.....a bit more respect, you or someone will want to catch it in years to come...bad angling...this video has been sent to the Broads Authority for the disgusting way those fish were treated...
