A better explanation than this one you won't find, I've been having trouble caring eyes (and everything else I'm a beginner) but this video has put an end to that 😎. I'm gonna practice it now. Thank you Jody, as always, youre awesome!!!

Thanks again jordy. I always get one eye better than the other and the spend ages trying to get them the same. None of its easy but your tuition really helps to understand how to go about it.
Looking forward to some chainsaw stuff soon.

The thing is, you're an artist. Artists create, see flaws, adjust, create more, see more flaws, adjust again, and create again. After all of your adjustments and creating, you have a work of art. Trying to explain the process is, sometimes, an overload on our creative process and that's where we get frustrated. You do great work. Keep it up.

That style of eyes is my favorite, reminds me of Greek & Roman statues. Age lines really bring it some character, another fine job.

I have to say your videos help out and old woodcarver like me .
One thing you can tell him that will help them out if they're left-handed do the right side first .
If they are right-handed do the left side first .
When I was teaching woodcarving would have my students do it this way .
So could they could look at the eye that they already did without having to pick up their hand to look at that first I that they did.
    Love your work my friend

Jordy, on your Kutzall flame burrs, do you use course or very course? I have Sworker, made in Germany, they're good, but they don't cut like your Kutzall does.

Why don’t you do one where birds attack a wood spirt. A good bird would a woodpecker, they could really work on the wood spirit
