    Hi, thank you for the files. Just printed them out. Look very good. Just have to wait for the bearings, motor, etc. In your Drawing the main plate #6 is doubled and i use metric bots and nuts. hope they will fit.

      Your are right #6 is in there twice. Funny after all these years no one else has pointed that out. Using 6mm bolts should work fine.

    Thank you for the info. I downloaded your design and tweaked it to make it 6 station and redesigned one tool holder to hold my brass trimmer. It works awesome. Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for designing and sharing this. Got it all assembled but it seems like the motor has a hard time getting started. Maybe my gear friction is a little too much, not sure if this is an issue you ran into and adjusted something to fix

      It's most likely the gears are too tightly meshed together. I used close tolerances so there would be very little slop. But everyone's printer prints a little bit different. You have to make sure your printer prints dimensionally accurate. A 10mm hole should be a 10mm hole. I have not been back to this since I posted it. Most of my concentration has been on my brass annealer.

      @@msgbean Thanks for the quick response. I think the system maybe needed to run for a bit to wear in and fold over any plastic burrs? Now there is the delay of the governor energizing but everything starts turning shortly after and applying pressure on the bits does not stall it out. Great design.

      @@mitchellmiller1990 You might want to disconnect the motor and turn it by hand. That will tell you where the problem is.

    Just my luck. I printed out the parts but they don't fit. :( Ender3 Pro. The parts look great but everything seems to big slightly too big, or too small like the bearing cups. The bearings won't fit. I haven't tried a heat gun yet. Maybe next ting to do. So it's back to the drawing board. This usually happens to a lot of other files, including the ones I design. Back to the drawing board. I really like this project. Hope I can figure out how to get everything to fit.

      That is the typical problem with printing someone else's project on a different printer. No two printers seem to print exactly the same unless some adjustments in the slicer are made. Before I started this project I did some adjusting so that if I printed a 10mm circle it was indeed 10mm when finished. Different materials also shrink at different amounts which can change the size of the final product.

      Success! I got my machine put together and tested it out today. I had to re-print several pieces to get them all to fit. In fact I gave up on the main gear. After a lot of searching on You Tube, I learned how to make a gear in Sketchup. That is what I use. It fit perfectly the first time. I didn't use the variable speed thing. Wide open is good for me. I already have three of the tools so I am good to go for less than $50. I used a 2.1x5.5mm DC Power Jack Plug Adapter Connector and a 12 volt power adapter. The connector fit perfectly on the bottom plate. Looks plumb professional! :) I have an on/off switch on order so I will finish it up when it comes in. Thanks again. You did a great job. Oh, btw, eSun PLA+ orange with black tool holders and dust covers.

    Sir great job, can you provide information on what was used to mount the tool nuts to the gear shafts, and did you use an in to secure them to the gears.

      I just held the tool in a vise and used a wrench to screw on the lock nuts. The two nuts are tightened together ensuring the nuts are aligned with each other. They are then held in place by the 3D printed tool holders which connect to the gears.

      @@markholben2718 The gear shaft goes into the lower bearing then the gear goes on the gear shaft, followed by the 2nd bearing, then the tool holder.

    For the okes who struggled with getting the parts to fit, what did you do, did you just resize the print in in the slicer, I also printed this, the casings etc are fine, but the hexagon shapes dont fit into each other

      The one reamer in the back was not seated correctly.

      3d printed shafts are hard to keep from warping. I have the same problem with my annealer.
