Thank you for this. My knee and ankle both are acute fractures. I am a non-bearing and if I place pressure on my leg it will result in full knee replacement. That surgery caused my brother DVT after surgery and he died at only 48. He was a paramedic. So, again, thank you for explaining what the ER dept. Failed to.
