I always use Ecocyl on pit silage. Fantastic stuff. Maybe the others are good too but just when you know something works you get it hard to change . Good luck 👍
We use ecosyl or the Agritech one here Graham. Ecosyl is the only one with independent trials behind it but I think the Agritech one is good aswell. Be a good thing to have this year with the weather so mixed I think
I am at the same job as you put quad sprayer on the baler last week .I am using agri loads. Hm enaculant. The packet does 40 tones .they recon one liter per bale .I fitted a tap on the pipe between tank and the novel's so I can regulate spray amount .trial and error .I am using it tomorrow for first time .tank isc98 liters . That's a good Ida to leave some undone .to compare.wish me luck
Leaving some undone is the only way to know I think anyway. I’d imagine it’s just working out how much water per bale and then mix the additives accordingly. Maybe when they been tested to might let me know how you got on

@@Kavanaghfarming a lad beside us use a powder additive on his baler. His bales are good because unfortunately I had to buy some 0 waste in them

Ya grass isn’t doing aswell as other years due to weather be hard to cut when you want so far anyway

Used additive from Jordan Agri bagnelstown last year on pit worked well good value
I’d imagine there shouldn’t be a difference whether used on bales or pit. Might give them a bell have dealt with them before

Yes we test and we buy and mix the meal accordingly

Would u not be better of with pit silage far nicer less messier only has to be stripped once a week
We were getting far too much waste from the pits. We are able to do the bales ourselves in our own time and can pick and choose what we want to cut
