First off, I hope you're healing well. You got this. Now on to the song, what a beautiful tribute to his friend Joe. He visited Joe's mum, and they watched this together. Tears were shed, but I truly think it helped Ren. As for "Double Dutch," Ren said in an interview that it meant gibberish, not the jump rope game. Beautiful reaction ❤
Double Dutch is common slang in the UK for somebody speaking something you can't understand

You are right about the Double Dutch, it is the chaos. Please take care of yourself Fisch, I ended up with a bypass last year and have COPD, no fun. It's just a part of my generation so I accept what I have don to myself. For those of us who know what suffering is, Ren has become our Sage. I only keep up with the BS our country is going through and the listen to Ren. He always brings me joy and sometime shared tears. I love knowing that I amnot alone.

Keep fighting. I was hospitalized a couple months ago with COPD exacerbation with bronchospasm and almost had to come home on oxygen. I haven't had a cigarette since and my breathing is so much better. It's worth quitting.

That bottle of light to fill the empty cup. Not only a crafted masterpiece but preformed extremely well with the help from Sam.

You sound like I did a year ago. Spent a wk in a hospital after a heart attack. I swear mine was caused by Covid a year earlier. Still run out of breath, walking across a parking lot. I did not need surgery or even a stent. Whatever caused it, resolved on its own. Though it did leave some damage. I hope you get well soon. If I am right, it will take time for your system to reset, as it did me. I lost my husband of 33+ years, got Covid and had a heart attack all within 2 years. Best of luck and prayers for you.
This song is amazing. I believe Ren is the Freddie Mercury of this century. He is a wordsmith that helps us all heal, one song at a time.

It's staggering how far Ren can make you ride the emotional rollercoaster in a single song. The lows are lows, but I think there are gems of hope, resolution and postivity in there too. Add to that, all live... one take... perfectly lit with a stunning backdrop and beautifully filmed by Sam. Ren can basically do no wrong.
And @FischtankProductions - You picked a hard one for sure. I was BEGGING for you to keep going with song after you mentioned the piano playing earlier, I completely understand not wanting to go any further though, this part of the song that’s on Suic*de I sat our teenage son down and we talked about the topic yet again but in a different way addressing mental health versus just if for some reason he’s get in trouble/do something we wouldn’t condone and told him that a person should not make a permanent decision for a temporary issue even though it can feel permanent in the midst of whatever it is. We didn’t allow our son to work this summer (he’s 15) because he has baseball practices and games (all over our state), football camp, weightlifting, ultimate frisbee league, etc and we wanted him to enjoy the last few summers before high school ends. He’s been helping a friend work on his mustang and truck, he’s been going fishing with friends, going to county carnivals (the things I did as a kid) and we are so thankful because as much as he loves sports, it can be a lot of pressure. He found out last night his role on his football team has grown and he’s excited but also nervous.
