Bizzare how Hollywood can't get the correct equipment in movies (usually a tank) but yet I've seen productions like this that are authentic and can find genuine German equipment

Verstaubt sind die Gesichter is another recommendable serie of WW2 movies.
Just love the fact that they have the proper equipment and camouflage and that ever German soldier isn't carrying a machine gun.... 👍👍👍
Fantastic story and visuals! Well done guys. I love the use of the autumn sided oak leaf pattern for a change. Man, the Germans were so aesthetic and intimidating in their uniforms. You guys portrayed them excellently. I hope to see more soon.

This is brilliant stumbled across it on my home page! Was cool to see it's about the Estonians I was deployed out there for 9 months it was great working with them and learning about the battle of Nava and visiting where it happened, it was very eye opening.

Hab zwar kein Wort verstanden, aber es wirkte sehr glaubwürdig erzählt. (Danke an die Untertitel.) Eine sehr gute Entscheidung den Erzähler in seiner originalen Sprache zu belassen und die Untertitel zu nutzen.

One of my mates at Uni came from Adelaide. He said his best friend was Estonian and his father had emigrated to Australia after the war- his military service was in the Waffen SS.

Paradoxically this War Film is a beautiful production in depicting the human comaradarie that exists between combatants on both sides of this conflict. Kudos to all of you involved in this production

Very good , from a fellow reenactor , your uniforms looked like they’d be lived in for a long time , that’s the mistake many of these short films make ,, to new and clean uniforms , very good , when is the next one ?

The Leegion 1945 quality is On Par with those film made by ParaLight WorX, Salute........
3:02 Push the MG forward against the bipod with your shoulder, it gives a much better gun control during fire bursts. (You can't experience that difference without using live ammo.) That's at least how I was trained to handle it in the German army and I guess it was the same back in WW2. That weapon was perfect from the beginning and so it is still in use. 😍

My Great Grandmother Seelmann had trained attack Schäferhund at her brauerei in Zettmannsdorf.
If drunk rowdies got too uncontrollable she would send in the Shaferhund to attack them at the dining area, or what was left of the dining area after they started fighting and wrecking anything in their path.
Her command to the Schäferhund was........"Caesar los"
The dog would tactically climb the rowdies shoulders and going for the nape of the neck and holding for further instruction. The rowdies would freeze either stop......or be in for a lot of dog biting.
All her dogs were named "Caesar", she learned how to train them after being a nanny for industrialist families in Munich in the early 1920s and trying to protect the children from Red affiliate groups trying to kidnap them while at the park.
There's nothing to be said that hasn't already been said but i'll just add another "great job" to the list. Maybe if you can find the funding do a feature. Loved every minute !

Oh! So brave! Now I know that Estonians won the war!
Estonians were brave as were Germans and so were Russians. Estonians "won" - 50 years later. All seeds that were sown in 1918-1920, 1944 in Blue Hills and later by "Forest Brothers" were not futile. We are free from imperialist Russians now. May be they in future abandon their idiotic "our bloody Empire over all" imperialist attitude and somehow change to normal people - honest and hard-working, not stealing, not lying, not alcoholic people , then we can get normally and friendly - but is that even possible?

OK, now being a Marine, I LOVE my MARPAT. However, the germans had that it figured out like holy CRAP!!! I'd equip our military with the WW2 German camouflage if it were up to me!!!
Except later no snow camo in Russia - the Finns had it figured.

I didn't know this WW2 story in Estonia, I also discover that there could have been guys in SS uniforms who in fact weren't nazis, very far from what History tells us !

Thousands of volunteers from Nazi occupied countries were accepted in SS to fight against the Red Army. Next to wholehearted Nazis many saw Communism as the greatest threat to Western democracies.
Often to be ostracised and/or punished by law after the war.

Thanks for the comment. Red stars on Soviet equipment are not a necessity. There were many types of markings on these tanks.. and also without.

После года российской оккупации и этих благословений каждый из вас был бы воспринят как освободитель. Эстонцы, которые были в Красной Армии - фронт простоял посреди Эстонии 2 недели и тех, кого насильно мобилизовали, вывезли в Россию, где многие из них погибли в трудовых лагерях. У них не было выбора. Я верю, что в свете нынешней войны многие табу будут сняты и будет рассказано, как было и есть. Благородный русский воин-освободитель остается тогда жалкой тенью.

Да, можно снять табу и оправдать все преступления нацистов, только вот трудовые лагеря отличаются от лагерей по уничтожению людей. Но это все советская пропаганда. Фашисты и их пособники были белые и пушистые, несли светлое и доброе.

Great short action film. Love the original equipment . Much better than what hollyweird puts out now a days. All those different characters and not one homosexual, child molester or transvestite. Absolutely amazing.

Quite good, but IMHO anything is too much clean, uniforms (looks tailored), weapons (looks brand new), and all. They should be a little more worn.
Why were they all SS and not regular army-I read SS were brutal and when captured were shot on the spot?!
iIn 1943/44, Himmler conscripted most of the foreign soldiers into Waffen SS. Even so, part of the soldier remained with the Luftwaffe and the police.
