I know he loves his wife and things are shaky getting ready for their baby and all trying to run the hospital and getting things together. Max and Sharpe chemistry is off the chain they are another Olivia and Fitz of Scandal he just lights up around her she is his rock and he is hers I hope he gets well to enjoy his family and if they can be together I ship them all the way they are a good team they work good with one another if its meant to be it will he's handsome I love his blue eyes and that smile just lights up a room and she is drop dead gorgeous if she could have a baby and her and Max did hook up the baby would be beautiful. No. Pay attention to the script. In Season 3, Max told Karen (when they were talking in the conference room) that when he looks inside of himself Georgia isn't there. Max may have love Georgia in some way, but he was never deeply in love with Georgia. As Floyd suggested to Max, what Max is feeling is guilt about having fallen in love with Helen soon after they met, while Georgia was still alive. Max and Georgia were not happy together, they were moving towards a divorce, and they should never have married each other in the first place. They had nothing in common and they had ZERO chemistry. Having a bandaid baby couldn't have saved that marriage.
