Hi Adam. I'll probably never get the chance to visit Greenland, so many thanks for sharing this wonderful place with us. I think I prefer the higher contrast image but they're both beautiful. Thanks again Adam.

The one with the higher contrast.
I find the dynamic of the water shows the wilderness of the landscape better. Great image, Adam. 👌

Beautiful videos and photos Adam. The opening sequence, with the drone flying by your group is just spectacular. As for your question, I prefer the more contrasty image because of the warmer tones, particularly the rich green and yellow hues on the grass in the middle ground. I also like the purple flowers and the red patch on the rock in the low right corner, that seem to disappear in the less contrasty image. Both are beautiful, the composition is superb with converging lines in the foreground leading to the bright sun. Great images and interesting vlog, i would never have imagined Greenland so spectacularly beautiful.

Love the way wooden houses weather along any saltwater coast -- gives them such rich textures in their paint, wood, and roofing, and definitely makes me think of the Maritimes as well. As for the last shot, I sorta prefer the harsher contrast when viewed digitally, though I'd probably prefer the softer water printed out.

Great choice of location Adam, not the usual places we've become so a custom to on these channels......VERY refreshing. You've proven this year that between China, and Greenland that the longer it takes to get to a neat place the more unique your photos are likely to be especially because you know you're craft.

Adam, if you had said you were in Newfoundland, I would have believed it! I live here, and can tell you the landscape is indistiguishable. We have fjords too, :) lol.
If you ever decide to come to Newfoundland, which I advise you to do ;-p, and you want to see massive Ice Bergs or be "lucky" enough to see a Polar Bear, come between March to May. The Polar Bears may (usually will) be floating in with sea ice and Ice Bergs are in "peak season". .the bergs can linger around in to June if it's a "good'' year, lol.
For me, the contrasty one catches my attention more.
    Cheers,

Your opening scenes and footage shot with the drone just confirm to me that drones are a positive thing when used in such away, the grandeur and scale of the landscape was clearly obvious when seen from the air, fantastic. Love those 'prams' at the 7:40 mark... old style with great spring suspension... looks like the perfect solution for a smooth ride in the rocky terrain... far superior to some of the modern day kid carriers... In regards which image do I prefer... I like the effect created on the first one, because you have soft silky water for the most part... but one image file froze the spray in sharp detail... mid/left side... I like that anomaly... Cheers and thank you...

There's something that has occurred to me watching several of your videos... You show us, and teach us your thoughts regarding composition, lighting, exposure techniques, etc... and you do it in a presentation of extremely high quality visually, and musically. I don't take for granted the skills you must have creating and editing your videos. I'd love to see and learn some of the tools and techniques you use to accomplish that, starting with the software you use. Hopefully this sounds like a good idea to you, and hopefully your audience would respond positively as well. Jon

Ingredients are years of Practice in making such videos and 25 (?) Years of Professional photography. It is much more important what you film and say than with what you edit it. I guess adam uses adobe Premier pro, but you could use the free or cheaper hit film, imovie or da vinci resolve to not too unsimilar effect. Not Sure, how, much adam scripts his videos. Not much, i guess- apart from the comedy with gavin.
