- Hello everyone! In this video we have tried to cover all the important things related to Physiotherapy which one should be knowing. In total there are more than 20 subjects. It was not possible to cover all so we've tried to cover all the important ones. In 4th year you'll have your synopsis in which you'll have to finalize a research topic and present it. You'll be given a guide from your college under whom you'll be doing your research. You have all the right to choose the topic according to your interest. You can do it on any population targetting a particular problem or giving an intervention and seeing if it's useful or not. And in your internship you'll be recording all your data and you'll interpret the result of your research.
Coming to scope of physiotherapy. After completing a Physiotherapy Course, one can apply for Physiotherapy jobs in various industries of the health care sector such as Hospitals, Clinics, Corporate Houses, Rehabilitation Centres, Orthopedic Clinics, Sports and Fitness Centres, Defence Establishment, Universities, etc. The salary differs but with experience and knowledge you can earn more than 80k to 1 lakh per month but it'll take time.
After completing your degree you can also do home visits by your own and charge according to what you feel is the best. Make sure that initially only you don't charge more because of lack of experience but if you trust your abilities and the patient is getting better you definitely can.
One person can't create a change alone. We need the whole community to stand up for the problem together and create the change which all of us have always dreamt of.

From which college you are doing bpt course ?
Salary in clinics depends on the revenue and the patient flow in that specific clinic. There are so many clinics in cities which give 15k to 25k even to freshers. But yeah that is a part of the reality that most of the clinics give only 5k to 12k for freshers.

In PCB you should be getting 50% or more and the fees varies from college to college + if you belong to a particular caste or open category. For open category it depends whether it is a government or private college. For private colleges the annual fees will be more than 1 lakh for general category and for government it'll be less.

As such you won't be having equations to solve. We have 20+ subjects in the course and things will mostly revolve around the human body. The anatomy, physiology, biochemistry etc along with things related to Physiotherapy. We have made a detailed video related to this. You can watch that for more info.

In government colleges the patient's exposure will be more and the fees will be less. You can expect your salary to be a little more but at the end of the day it boils down to your skills irrespective of whether you have passed from a government college or a private college. And now the Physiotherapy community is also growing overall so if you have that skills you can definitely have a good career.

It depends on your interest. Currently PT has more scope and respect according to me but we also need more good occupational therapists. Right now the knowledge among patients about Pt is more than ot. I hope this answers your question.

Physiotherapy easy course nahi hain. It's an 4 and a half year course. Phir aapne vo skills develop kiye and aapka intent right hain toh definitely you can earn good. The most important thing is aapka interest kisme hain. Physiotherapy course ke baare mein aur jaaniye aur phir aapko lagta hain yeh karne mein aapko interest hain phir definitely aapko karna chahiye. Jo kaam karne mein maza aaye wahi karna chahiye aisa mera maanna hain. All the best for your future 🙏🏻

Which is better according to you bds or bpt? Is the study load same for both?
Both the courses have their pros and cons. According to me, bpth is better as the community is growing and we need more quality Physiotherapists. This is going to be the golden period for the bpth community. For now the study load is kinda the same, just the internship span is more for bds. In future the bpth internship span is also going to increase. I hope that answers your questions.

What, is criteria in neet for government college?
For admission in a medical college you'll need 50% or more in PCB in 12th and neet score varies from college to college. You can expect 600+ score for a government college

Am se 5 pm hospital. Fir home visit daily mai wo 1 hours ek ek patient ke ghr jati thi. Daily wo 4 ya 5 home visit krti hi hogi or usse hi unki bohot achi income ho jati thi.

Some colleges might offer you a seat but you will also have to give the exam for admission in the particular college. For the majority you will have to give the NEET exam.

Right now the Physiotherapy community is booming. Both the courses have their pros and cons. I've tried to give you an overview about what happens in Physiotherapy. Do refer some others videos and articles for bams and talk to the experts in the field to get more ideas about bams. To answer your question I can't choose one. If I was in your place i would have chosen Physiotherapy because 1) I am more interested in it as compared to other courses. 2) Physiotherapy is booming. This is going to be the golden period for the physios. 3)India needs more quality Physiotherapists

In this 4 years you'll have an basic knowledge about the anatomy and different types of injury. If you are interested in sports you can work under a sports Physiotherapist who'll give you a better insight and with good exposure you can definitely treat/have the knowledge of the injury and plan the treatment for the same. This used to happen but now the scenarios have changed to some extent. In general physios can earn really good in other fields as well. Just try to talk to senior physios or watch our podcasts to get a new perspective about the current situation. We've covered sports, women's health and many more.

It depends on the individual. Have an overview about both the courses and see which interests you, if you can do it daily for a long period of time. What we can say is that Physiotherapy is really a very good course and you can definitely choose this if you are passionate about the human body, the healing process and want to be more involved in the treatment part where you will have to spend a good amount of time with the patient to improve his/her quality of life. What an useless argument ?? How is a student just graduated from college responsible for awareness?? It's all responsibility of senior physios to help physios grow and stop exploitation. They should control number of graduates per year
The young and senior physios both have their roles to play was the point here. For example Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma can't take the complete responsibility to win the world cup. The young players also have to take equal responsibility and play their roles. The responsibility can't be completely taken by the senior players or senior physios. All of us have to work together in order to bring the desired change

You are still in final year so you don't know how they exploit. My friend worked for a physio for months he did not pay a single penny imagine being in his shoes
Yes, I do agree with the exploitation thing but all are not like that. If you've watched our podcasts you'll get to know there are even some good people out there. My point is just the juniors can also start taking responsibilities from now so that when they become seniors they can give good opportunities to their juniors which is lacking now. I'm so sorry to know what happened to your friend. Rohit and Virat can't perform in every match right? This doesn't mean they don't know what their role is. I know many Physios who are creating a lot of changes in the Physiotherapy community. I do agree many of them just exploit young Physios which I've covered in the video. The point of making this video was just to show the young Physios the reality about what is happening and in future they don't do such things and can create a better change.

Bhai the thing is interest in physio and then the world is yours, asa nahi hai physio sirf neet failures h karte hai, i have seen many people who have 500+ scores in neet and they have opted for govt physio
