I'm old skool and ill tell you these young ladies just have it. Period. Their talent, charisma, beauty and swag is unlike anything i've seen in a really long time since their debut in 2022. It's insane to me they aren't HUGE yet. This song is so addictive and just total vibe
They need all the support they need. They started from scratch, unlike some 4th gen groups that already have the backing of big companies that have big groups already.
@@Multistan85 I agree they need all the support they can get, because they're amazing… BUT Hold up!!!!! You're a little mistaken in that comment of yours, and also there's no need to discredit 4th gen groups that are backed by big companies. Many of them write their own lyrics and produce their own songs, like SKZ, NCT or even NewJeans. But, one thing I could observe from the XG is that they DO NOT write their own songs, or even participate in the process of producing them. Go on GENIUS, get on any of their songs and see the credits: they're not credited. So, please be more thoughtful of your comments. Don't go stating things that are false, if you haven't checked the facts.
I'm truly in love with XG and I'm not saying that they're not amazing artists. Their choreographies, like I know Jurin is the one responsible for it; their vocals, by Juria, Hinata and Chisa, are out of this world; and rapping, by Maya, Cococa, Jurin and Harvey, is something that you're born with and can acquire just by immersing yourself in it throughout many years and I bet that's what they've done. But one thing we cannot deny is that they have trained for many years. Where? In a COMPANY. They also produce great songs and content, that's paid by: a COMPANY. And these are written, composed and produced by other artists that are ALSO paid by a COMPANY, actually THEIR company.
You cannot start from scratch and produce videos and content like these without support. You would have to write your own songs, produce your own music and etc. They're not independent artists, they're backed by a company. Maybe, you meant that they're the FIRST group from their company, but it doesn't mean they're not paving the way for younger artists inside their company to hit it just BIG as they did.
I really like when artists participate in the process of writing their own lyrics and producing their songs, and I hope in future projects the girls have the opportunity to do that. But, if they're JUST focused on performing and singing, that's also great. I'll be here cheering and supporting them.

@@thudayoon99 I meant from a standpoint in terms of fans. Although growing in number, their label is relatively new and XG is their first artist to come out of that label. Other agencies already have big fandoms backing them up , army , blink, stay, once to name a few. And most of these fandoms truly support their labels because of their respective idols. Anything the label does, the fandoms will support them 100%. While Alphaz is new, they still don’t have power numbers like army to help spread the word.
Public relations is also a big factor and you need lots and lots of influence as well as money to keep your idols in the spotlight. You are correct when you mentioned they paved the way for the next group to come out their label, so I’m not worried. Gidles agency Cube entertainment is notorious for having the worst PR, but Gidle made good music and became popular nonetheless. XG will become one of the biggest in the future for sure.
@@Multistan85 I agree with you in the PR sense, but I do not agree that the fandoms support the labels 100%. I`m ARMY, so I know what you are talking about. Me and most of my friends in the fandom do not like the way HYBE treats the boys and we do not agree with everything they do. We liked it when it was BigHit and it was an smaller agency, but when it turned into HYBE or even a little bit before that, they were just caring about profits and not the artists' input. We are grateful though for everything they've done for the boys, after all, the success they have nowadays was because they had a good agency backing them up and a great number of fans.
But, it doesn't change the fact that we wish the boys can get out of there one day. Maybe, create their own agencies or even go independent. That way they'll be able to do everything they want and much more.
And when we don't like something the agency does, we go to TWITTER. I don't know if you have seen it, but we protest against their mistreatment as well.
The only thing bad for the girls is that their CEO is a freaking idiot. After, those remarks he made, against Korea, their situation did not improve. Many Koreans do not like Japan because of the invasion.
"Now, Japanese girls singing in English promoting in Korean programs? Ok, that's interesting. I'll give them a chance", many must have thought like that. But, after the CEO's remarks, those that had a achance of liking them: PUFF. That chance went out the window. That was a mistake from his part. If you're going to promote in Korea, you have to think like them. If he wanted to make them global, He should have started promoting in the USA, not there.
But, he did. I love that the girls sing in English. After, it's a language I can understand. But, if yu're based in another country you have to approach them in their native languages. I know they're fluent in Korean, but I haven't heard Korean in their comeback songs. I think that if they have a comeback with songs in Korean and English, it will go even better for them.
@@thudayoon99 I think the producers don’t want them to be known as Kpop or Jpop. They did mention XPop which is supposedly a blend of the two.
In addition , not 100% but mostly. The big brands already have a lot of history. XGAL is in its infancy. Also there are a lot of fans that want TH-camrs to react to videos of new groups from these big agencies, and the solo stans especially.

I honestly think they will overtake BP. BP is all about hype, visuals but they lack on the dancing and rap. XG put their talents before visual making them so much better in that area. And their English translations flows better because it makes sense. Just my opinion but I am still a BP fan but hate that we wait years to hear from them.

Not even a slightest. I they’re more western pop which is why they are Global Pop Group. Here in Japan media also said XG is neither Jpop and Kpop.
I think it’s a unique and new thing for its a test to peoples who can appreciate just the MUSIC rather than naming where they’re come from
Also Jpop doesn’t sound like XG songs, famous Jpop examples are PERFUME, AKB48, etc, it’s definitely not something like XG music.
They're actually they're been trained in Japan for 5 years before going to Korea. They're going back and forth for the training and promotion,. They do not belong to K-Pop genre. They're all Japanese members that they should belong to J-Pop then K-Pop, but people called them a Japanese Global Group. They're under AVEX Japanese Company and partnered with Korean Company only. AVEX is funding most of the productions.

hhhmm sounds like ive heard this song before...alot of recent and todays asian pop sounds like a remake of an american pop song that was already made years ago. not hating, just an observation how asian pop has westernized their music. regardless, the video is cool.
