Amazing landscape out there, just fabulous. How annoying was that wire across the road! That was so unexpected. Mind you, you did get some excellent footage before that happened. Looking forward to the next one to see whether you did have some spare propeller blades with you and also to see what that rattly thing is for. God bless as always 😀❤🙏
Seeing you walking bare feet into the cave to see the little waterfall, I think a lot of the big caves are out of bounds this time of the year as they are flooded. Makes me think about the football team trapped in the Thai cave when the water suddenly rose, that was an amazing story. Incredible rescue after so many days in total darkness.
Just read the comments, amazing part of the world you live in. So much respect for the Now in Laos family, my world would be a lot gloomier with out you and the crew. Thanks Todd, Nee Nee and Mina. And the country itself and peoples.
Hi Todd. Ken from Melbourne , Living in Phnom Penh for the last year. Just got back from a 3 day Kampot trip. Flew my dji mini 3 pro through a waterfall area, dropped down into the gully to get a better view and lost connection with drone. It was thick with tree's, I was screwed xxxxx. Hit return to home and bugger me, it maneuvered through the jungle to find its way out, could not believe my luck. My TH-cam channel is far ken gone and will be released later this week. Love your work and your family. Cheers Ken
That tractor hill climb took me back a few years , unable to climb a not so bad similar sized hill , called hotel owner for help and waited on the very edge of the road . Large SUV appeared at the top and slowly slide into the front of my truck , great way to start Xmas , got a Landy tow :-)
You mentioning the dust, bull dust we called it on our motorbikes, I felt sorry for the people in the houses alongside the road, the only thing saving my guilt for kicking up so much dust😅 was that the big trucks made a lot more than us.
Scenery was really nice, and the drone video over those falls was amazing! Big Loop Tour E9 has flown the coop, but rest assured I'll be around for Big Loop Tour E10. Thank you so much for the journey, Tood.
Asphalt paving should be fine there, the worst thing for asphalt is cold 🥶 weather and snow ❄️ every winter when we have cold and snow here in Vancouver Canada the water seeps into cracks and freezes this creates heaving as it expands and contracts causing pot holes. Plus asphalt is cheaper and you can lay it down a lot faster than concrete and start driving on it pretty much the same day, like we do here. 😊 Anyway you guys are living the good life and I’m kind of jealous, wish I was younger I would love to live to live in Laos or even Cambodia or Vietnam 😁 I started travelling to late in life. I almost moved to China glad I didn’t with the way it is there now.
China is not so bad, my son and family has been settled there for about 15 years, building ships, couple of kids. I worked there about 25 years ago. I think you have to live there to fully appreciate the place. If you have time watch the TH-cam’s videos put out by ‘Little Chinese Everywhere’, some fascinating sights, it’s a big country.
@@ragbag46 I lived there for ten years but needed to have my resident visa renewed every year. I say that because it's extremely difficult to receive a green card there. I, unfortunately, came back to the States on January 12, 2020, and just my luck.........Covid! That was bad enough, but I turned 60 while I was here and it's almost impossible to get a work visa at 60. I went back last year and saw some of my colleagues from the university, and though that was nice, I was very saddened not to able to see my sophomore, junior and senior classes graduate. As you said, China is a big country.
@Bobwa2008 LOL.. That's it, it's not Bob.. that is why all the roads throughout Laos are atrocious. A combination of shoddy workmanship when compacting and laying properly, road funds being skimmed, and overladen vehicles destroying them. Put in a concrete road and you know you wont be repairing it next year 😉
Asphalt is the only way to pave roads in the snow belt....you have to have a flexible substance that can move through the frost heaves. It's the snow plows that are so brutal on asphalt, but we need them!!
Hi Todd, Neenee and Mina! Mud,,,mud and more mud ❤❤❤ In reality,,its more life 💩💩💩 . Not really fond of mud. I'd rather drive on snow and ice,,than mud. Good looking women at the market. ,and friendly,,the best kind. I can see a future investment for your house,,a karaoke machine for your beautiful songbirds. Full of English,,Australian, Canadian,,and American rock n roll,,with a lil Jamaica music too. When you guys stopped with the people working their way up the mud hill,,omg ,,that long chunk of table.I'd like to work on that monster big chunk of wood,,maybe fill the cracks with colored epoxys,,red and yellow,,blue and green. I didnt see giant cracks,,so bright colorful highlights. What was impressive the way it was was the length and thickness,,great table,,and you thought you'd snuck it by me 😂😅 lol I love you,,Mina bug ❤❤❤ Ttyl,,,Marlon

It's always the descent people misjudge. you get up there, but then you have to get down

at 13:20 looks like an old airstripe off to the right of the road
... yes, close to the mountains, parallel to the road , left in the picture
Great video 👍🙂
Tried the Ant eggs on a trip down to Rayong where I first tried Dancing Goong, would have again give it a go son.
Thanks for sharing, with all the driving unfortunately something has to break .happens to all of us

Thats just a vibration dampener Todd, nothing to worry about if it falls off ! stay safe !
Cheers, good to know. Was acting more like a vibration amplifier! 😆
23:48 ... looks like the boy is seeing blue eyes for the first time in his life ...
That's what I thought! Really eyeballing me he was 😆
Support for the exhaust ? Needs a strap ?
3:55 ... cow just hungry or looking through the fence ?
💯🔥💙👍
The drone has a locator on the app just in case and would show you where it crashed
I think that is the flux capacitor. Make sure it is tightened up or you won't be able to get back to the future. 🙄
I thought it was the discombobulation module.
❤👍👍👍🙏
Lucky it didn’t land in the water.
You need to drive through Phone Hong and do some videos sometimes. My family came from there and we are in America.
What model drone do you use?
DJI Air 2S
Did you ever figure out what that part was for? 30:28
I know your drone has sensors on it… How come it didn’t pick up that cable running across the road when you hit it??
It must have been in sport mode..
Poor people Todd but a lot have Sat Dishes?
Hmm ok , just the drone crashed , still not good , thought it was the Troopy :-(
Don't forget to see the chiropractor. 😊
They are not tumors on the monkeys necks, they are pouches all monkeys have them they stash food in them :)
I learn something everyday.. thank you
