Setting up a new rifle. My eyes do not naturally align when resting on the stock. I read about fixes for this problem and ordered an even lower low mount. Hoping this will fix the problem. If not I may go this route. Nice video.
I just purchased the RA Predator in 6.5 CM and was thinking about adding this very same cheek riser which is how I came across your video. Very informative and will use it as a guide when I install mine. I also noticed the muzzle break you have installed as well. Can you tell me which muzzle break that is? I have a compensator on mine at the moment but it is not doing what I need. Thanks in advance.
Good video. In my opinion, I don’t want my scope mounted that high. It looks like your scope sits way high so the rings are extra high. Seems like the rings on that gun are for a larger objective.
Pull the recoil pad off the gun and remove the Styrofoam. I added about a pound of lead and then stuffed some shop rags into the stock to keep everything from moving. I used a screwdriver to pack the rags in very tight. On the forearm I just used some bondo fiberglass and filled all the voids and sanded it down smooth.
243 Outdoors oh that’s cool brother I was just wondering cause you got a midsouth shooters hat on and it’s located in Clarksville. Ive been there multiple times.
243 Outdoors very nice, they have great customer service and I go to school with the owners son so I know whenever they get all sort of new stuff to play with . I really enjoy the video man and very insightful. I have been looking into getting a deer rifle for a long time and I have settled on the ruger American. Thanks!
Just bought this rifle and your videos were the deciding factor!! You definately deserve an endorsement from the Ruger corp. !!
Just found your vids I'm a 243 guy myself but really looking at 6.5 yours make it look really tempting
It's one of those thing's if you try it you will be hooked.

Looks like that riser is mounted forward about an inch to far.

243 Outdoors. Thanks, keep up the good videos.
@243 Outdoors, does the fiberglass expand at all as it hardens? Was there any concern about the stock flexing and interfering with the free float?
I didn't notice any expanding. The stock flexed very bad and the fiberglass helped some. It still flexes but not as bad.
Is that a long action bolt? I have the same but mine is short action and looks different. Nice job on the vid.
No, is a short action.
What muzzle break do you have on your 6.5 Creedmoor?
Awesome videos by the way
It's a Tac-Fire TPI Compact .308 Brake. I got it from OpticsPlanet, it usually runs under $20
Wow!!! $20
Thanks for the reply... I look forward to more of your videos
Looks good.
What is the barrel length on your 6.5 Creed?
What kind of bipod are you using? How do you like it?
What muzzle brake are you using on your 6.5?
It's called a TPI Compact 308 brake from Optics planet. Runs $15-25
What model of Blackhawk is your bipod
Which one is that one? Is it a left version?
Would you happen to be from around the clarksville region of TN.
Southern Illinois

I've ordered a few things from them. I'm just trying to be like my buddy 22Plinkster. I found out about them from his hat.

is that made out of kydex?
Yes
Can you remove the bolt with the cheek rest in the ready position?
No, not the way I have it now. I have to raise it up just a bit, and the back of the bolt will go under the rest and then it will come out.
@Ron Stone Good plan
What’s the added weight for in the end of the riffle?
