Bad trade for Mitchell! no way I do the trade if i'm the rockets manager. No way Mitchell alone moves any needle by giving up Jalen Green and Tari Eason + 3rd pick for Mitchell
And who says the Rockets offered that....NATIONAL MEDIA crap. They are constantly starting trade Ideas that favor big market or east coast teams. If Stone wanted that trade you can bet that the Net would have taken it. Just like the Donovan Mitchell rumors to the Rockets. If Stone did either one of those trade he should be fired. The Rockets are in the driver seat not the other way around. The Rockets have a lot of assets to go along with a great cap situation and a bunch of great young players...They are a prime target for all these rumors.
Seam Marks should’ve been fired for giving their future to us for a wishy washy player like harder.. Then he turns around and denies a offensive stud like JG Sean Marks is horrible at his job
Stone would have never offered Jalen Green + the Nets' picks back for Mikal Bridges. You are crazy if you believe that east coast media rumor. If you look at how Stone operates you would understand this.
@@kylecitizen39 Any team that gives all 7 picks for a player is stupid. The Harden trade was the first and set a trend in the NBA. The reason the Rockets got the best of that trade is that the Rockets can be a winning team and still get high picks by controlling a different team's picks. So far, the Rockets got 2 young talented players and a #3 pick through the Harden trade... Tari Easton + Cam Whitmore + #3 (2024 draft) + 2025 Nets (swap) + 2026 Nets + 2027 Nets (swap). This trade will go down as one of the best NBA trades ever. There is a great chance that the 2025 swap with the Nets will move the Rockets from a playoff team (picking #17 ~ #25) to a lottery pick #1 ~ #10. This year's draft the Nets are the only team without a draft pick and they still cannot rebuild with Ben Simmons' $40.3 million contract on the books.
That Cleveland trade ain’t happening, that’s highway robbery We don’t want Mitchell! Now the Brooklyn trade sign me up but i think we draft Zacharrie or Reed
Good video Sheldon. I think that trading the pick is the best option for Houston, for two reasons: 1. The front office has made it clear that at this stage, the goal is to compete and make the playoffs. I don't see any player in this year's draft that could make an immediate impact on the Rockets. 2. The coaching staff made it clear that in order for this team to be successful, the key is to build the team around the 6 young players that we already have: Green & Sengun drafted in '21, SmithJr & Eason drafted in '22, Thompson & Whitmore drafted in '23. There's only so much minutes that can be distributed among the 6 "rooks" and the complementary (and necessary) vet pieces. The Bridges trade that you are including in your video makes sense as it checks both of these boxes. Additionally, by looking at the front office's moves since Rafael Stone took over, there has always been an inclination to be financially flexible, especially now that the contract extensions of the 6 rooks start to kick in. Mikal Bridges has 2 years left on his contract, making $24MM per year; great value for money. This should be a no-brainer for Houston. Would the Nets do it? Probably we would have to add at least one more first round pick. 2 BKN first rounders + Dillon Brooks. Starters: Van Vleet, Green, Bridges, SmithJr, Sengun. Rotation: Thompson, Whitmore, Eason, Adams. Looks pretty competitive to me, and sustainable (money wise) for the short and long term.
None of them are untouchable. If the right deal comes along any of them can be dealt. Unfortunately I don't have much faith in Stone getting us a star.
Jalen Green didn't go through a "hot stretch". He got a double fatherhood boost upon the announcement of his expecting children. We only saw a glimpse of that power. 'got mouths to feed' Jalen was incredibly consistent.
Except that then after he quit playing tanking teams and teams who already clinched that are resting stars in March, he went back to being his usual trash ass self and the rockets getting their ass kicked
I'd like to trade down. There are a few realistic options. Chicago's 11th + Caruso for 3. Grizzlies 9th + 2nd rnd swap + Marcus Smart. OKC may want Clingan. @LuckyPWAlmao Bullshit. Hartenstein did not learn to be good from anyone in Houston riding the bench. Hartenstein almost lost his career from his horrible misused time in Houston. He had zero market value and no one wanted him and the most likely result was that he would be on a g league deal and falling out of the league. The clippers are who gave him a real chance at being used correctly and developed him into the player he is and used him perfectly and correctly then pushed him to fill that specific role and stop trying to do the dumb shit Houston was trying, defending the perimeter and not staying under the basket on both ends, which he was god awful at and was never evaluated as having potential to do. He was even on DEN &CLE After HOU before getting to LAC and didn’t even start to be the rim defending, rebounding centered big until his Cleveland stint and that’s what got LAC to see him that way and spend on him and play him 150% of the time HOU played him.

I think the Rockets are likely to draft at #3 and run it back with most of present roster unless something comes along better than what's being currently floated
Mitchell, the Cavs will want a lot for him. The proposed trade is an overpayment to gain the smallest backcourt in the league. Giving up Green AND Eason for is too much. Then you toss in this year's third pick and another first in 2027 is way too much. Especially given that in four years, Green might be the better player. Eason could start for many teams. Bridges is an upgrade, but not worth the third pick in the draft. And even if the Rockets offered that, the Nets would turn it down. Moving up to the second pick for two seconds for a player they could draft at the third pick is just throwing away picks. Besides, this year's draft is an odd one where the tenth player picked may be the best one. A real crap shoot. Don't want Brown. He is the Pippen to Tatum. Good player, not a number one. To give up Green, Brooks and three firsts is crazy. How do you think the Celtics got Tatum and Brown in the first place, dumping Garnett, Pierce and Terry on the Nets. The Nets did it again trading for Harden and the Rockets are benefiting. Leave it at that. My thoughts on the draft is to try to trade back with the Blazers for their seventh and fourteenth pick. Toss in Landale and Tate (sweetener for the Blazers and clears space for the two new players).
1. Way too much for Mitchell . 2. Brown ain’t leaving Celtics . 3. Way too much for Mitchell . 4. Way too much for bridges . Wouldn’t even consider trading the 3rd pick by its self straight up for bridges. And last but not least 5. Way too much for Mitchell 😂
If the rockets are going to trade Jalen Green, I'd rather they be in the Trae Young sweepstakes for a long term PG option over Donovan Mitchell. Trade #4 to the Celtics would also be acceptable, but they'd never take that. If the Rockets do a trade package that includes Jalen Green it's has to be for a player on Jalen Brown or Trae Youngs caliber. I do think Mitchell would thrive under Ime Udoka's structure, I just don't think it's worth the assets given up.
Trade the number 3 pick and get Edey or Ware later in the draft. We can probably also get Brogden and one of their 1st round picks for our nimber 3 pick.
No you can’t bc you don’t have the cap space and you’d have to eat a lot of/all of Brogodons salary without Portland having to take any back to get him plus pick 7 for pick 3. There’s nearly no added value in this draft from 2 to about 9. Portlands ownership will not pay the tax and even told the fan base it’s not bad that they fell to 7 bc they can still very likely get one of the 4 guys they would have taken in the top 2-6 and pay him less at pick 7 (not saying they should have said that and you def don’t want your front office thinking that way, but it’s what they said and how they are approaching the summer so it matters for evaluating the moves they would make). Brogdon is their main tool at getting under the tax so the trade they do with him will be that part of the added value back to them is the other team absorbing a lot of his salary and not matching.
@@ElizabethAllan-is1ur I always wanted Brogdon over Vanvleet. Maybe Rockets can also trade Vanvleet out to a different team. I liked FVV but not at the price he got.
As a Rockets fan, if we trade any of the core six for anything, I'm storming Toyota Center. Don't want Mitchell. I'd only be good with trade 2 in this video.
Wemby is a center you would rarely ever to never see Clingan and Wemby on the floor together. That would be schemed around all Over the place and Clingan mostly just in wembys way like Zach Collins was
I'm thinking the Rockets need to trade for a veteran combo guard for a top10 they can develop. #3 pick and filler to Memphis for Marcus Smart and the 9# pick or #3 pick and filler to Portland for Malcolm Brogdon and the #7 pick. I like Dalton Knecht as the player to develop. I think he has Bob Sura potential, but I admit that might be a reach. I think Reed Sheppard could be a very good replacement for Fred VanVleet down the line but I think Ime want to get in the playoffs as soon as possible and the above trades get him there faster. From what I have seen, Rocket fans do not want Mitchell or Bridges but I think if Bridges plays under Udoka, you will see him at his true potential. If Jalen Green starts slow next season, move on from him. I'd rather have Bridges.
I just did a mock with a HOU/CLE deal too. Funny... Do you think that a #3/Whitmore/Eason/Adams/VanVleet could land Mitchell/JAllen/TJerome/DWade/#20 could work??? (In my mock they drafted Jaylon Tyson) Fun watching other ideas. I hope they trade the pick, although if they don't I like Sheppard out of the prospects ranked about how high he is.
@@AndrewPolander maybe... maybe not... depending on the direction the teams want to go and how high you value certain plaers... but hey at least I put out a trade idea like Sheldon asked to do at the end of the video... Hell nah!! Anything but Jalen Green and don’t think that much of Donavan Mitchell. Trade the pick for upgrade to roster or keep it and run it back, but if the Rockets trade Jalen Green I’m done with the Rockets.
I really believe in Jalen Green, I really think eventually he’ll be in mvp conversations. Probably not win it but like a Pg type player. Where he had a year or two where’s he’s a top three candidate
So would you rather your player be better or worse at the end of the year? I'd prefer my star player getting better and be at his best during playoff runs not pre season. Just sayin. Also why does Green get held to a different standard than everyone else on the team. He is not a finished product and young but people act like he supposed to be prime championship Kobe
@@crisdennis2503he’s not at his best during playoff runs you bozo. Awful trade to Boston. For what? The most expensive contract in the nba and not even an all nba player. A high volume shooter with poor defense. NO WAY.

My thoughts on the draft is to try to trade back with the Blazers for their seventh and fourteenth pick. Toss in Landale and Tate (sweetener for the Blazers and clears space for the two new players).
I think buddy is a cavs fan that trade is wild. Id barely even consider green and 3 for Mitchell.
Dude your nuts 😂
Oh so you didn’t listen during the video when I said I wouldn’t do most of these deals if I were the Rockets
I like the Bridges trade. That’s too much for Mitchell. Great video.
I would do the bridges trade just for 3 and brooks
I'd only be good with trade 2 in this video.
do a raptors plan trades since they didn't get the pick
Tari Eason is pretty much untouchable according to the rockets staff
I wanna see a Blazers video
That's a garbage trade for Houston.
Shepherd or Mikal are really the only 2 options in my eyes
I won’t mind them picking Reed, Zach or Clingan. Not really a fan of Clingan but I don’t want to see Clingan/Wemby duo in Spurs
Wemby is a center you would rarely ever to never see Clingan and Wemby on the floor together. That would be schemed around all Over the place and Clingan mostly just in wembys way like Zach Collins was
First trade for Mitchell is too pricey. Not Tari and Jalen.
I'd rather have Bridges.
lamelo ball for jalen green and the #3 -- draft reed then draft edey at 6 -- then trade mark and cody plus picks for markkanen
Cavs fan here....that's a laughable trade!
@@AndrewPolander maybe... maybe not... depending on the direction the teams want to go and how high you value certain plaers... but hey at least I put out a trade idea like Sheldon asked to do at the end of the video... I spoke that I think they should trade the pick but if not draft Sheppard... I guess I'm saying is at least I have the common courtesy to play along with the game... unlike these other dystopian comments that just say "Rockets would never do that blah blah blah..." I don't see many other ideas out there on this channel. It's what he asked...
Hell no lmao. That would be horrible for Cleveland unless Mitchell. Wade is no throw in there zero chance he’d be in this and Cleveland is giving up multiple proven all stars for literally nothing of high value
The bridges trade is also good.
Good on Mitchell
Sheldon do the Maimi Heat. Great podcast
Greetings, keep going Houston, I hope and the club's accuracy, don't trade J. Green or C. Whitmore or draft no. 3, if you choose Red Sherppard, it's best to trade with, amen thompson&jabari smicth jr,and jack landalle &j,tae'te ,t.easonplus draft pict 1 for d.mitchell, and j.allen ,also move trade player like jeff green, nate williams,j.samuel jr,b.marjanovic, don't miss out on taking free players malik beastley ,malik monk, better move j green to small f position, if d.mitchell comes in, and important don't miss out on draft picks Red Sherpard
All of them are interesting, maybe some tweaks here n there .
Cavs need size and athleticism at the forward position. Green isn’t going to help them
The peak of his powers will be 6th man of the year conversation, not mvp.
@@y2jt585 that’s BS!
😂😂😂😂😂 MVP HAHAHAHAHA
@@crisdennis2503he’s not at his best during playoff runs you bozo. He was his best in March, when Houston plays a ton of purposely tanking teams playing g league rosters and this year they got to throw in playing good teams who already clinched and weee resting players. It isn’t he gets better as the season goes on and then plays great at the end in the playoffs against the best nba teams in a totally different even harder and more physical and competitive environment.” Its he plays best a week after all star break til the end of March when the competition is absolute trash and either the worst of the worst rosters with teams purposely trying to lose or good teams playing their worst rosters of the season to rest or experiment for the playoffs bc they also don’t need to win anymore. The season ends almost two weeks into April, he literally went back to sucking in April and the rockets losing lol. So not only does he not play good in the playoffs like you try to make up in what that meant, but he doesn’t even make it to the end of the regular season playing good. It’s 4-6 weeks at the weakest time of the year on the schedule with purposeful losing and experimenting on the other side of the court for 86% of the games during that stretch. Lmao at the context you tried to make up 😂😂
Like 4 of our pick for michell
Only a 🤡 would want Mitchell and Bridges over drafting a stud at #3. 😂
I have also heard about Paul George to rockets for the 3d pick
that's not happening 😂😂 0.2% chance
0.001 chance
Pandemic P
PG is a free agent/has a player option so no, you haven’t heard that from anyone who actually knows the rules of the nba
That Mitchell trade would be silly
Ngl not trade 2 of the core 6 for d mitch take just jalen
I would rather trade cam thomas instead of this 2 player. Cam thomas can make play and csxore at will at xheaper price!
Don't want the BKN trade either. Does nothing for Rockets. Highway robbery!
Awful trade to Boston. Jalen Green, a young 20 yr old 20ppg scorer, the number 3 frp, the extremely valuable 2025 Brooklyn pick-probably top 5, 2026 frp unprotected from Brooklyn another top 10 pick, plus a very talented Dillon Brooks and salary relief in Landale. For what? The most expensive contract in the nba and not even an all nba player. A high volume shooter with poor defense. NO WAY.
Good on bridges
Green, Eason and 2 first rounders 😂🤷♂️ Crazy people
No way I'd add Tari to that trade.
Keep this pick....it's a no-brainer imo......nah u good fam....I b giving u a hard time because ur a Mavs fan lol
Stay patient & Pick Reed!
That mikal trade im taking asap
Stay off drugs
It makes the Rox better but Brooklyn would look bad af for doing it
@@crisdennis2503 Brooklyn has no future they will have to trade him
Horrible trade for Rox to get donovan, Stone isn't doing this. Risacher looks bust worthy. Honestly bad trades all over except the Bridges one. Rox should keep building and growing with the squad they have.
Celtics SHOULD make that trade.
Way too much for trade 1. Eason and green are both not getting traded togeter
Rockets a still be in playoffs if they paid kyrie instead of you know who
Dm hasn't won anything no way we do that trade!!!!
cleveland is taking all that trash for spida
No way Mikal Bridges value is that low?
Build through draft
I like the Mikal deal. However change the draft pick to Jalen Green. I would rather get Sheppard and lose Green.
In fact Reed in so perfect for us that i would do the Washington trade to move up and definitely pick him. Screw Risacher.
Why is a six foot one guard so perfect?
@@greglyon1402 historic level shooting for one
H-Town
this piss me off these trades are so stupid they're not gonna get us anywhere it's just gonna fuck are rebuild up just keep what we got these players they be talking about are not gonna come in and make us any better or win us a championship
They never focus on the gain it's always rhetoric with these casuals
😂😂😂 all I can do is laugh at this foolishness
Rockets wouldn’t make the trade because it’s the dumbest trade ever
🚀
Brooklyn ain't doing that.
Whats with all this Atari is untouchable talk? Why? Yes he is a high energy easy to rout for player, I get it. But he is and always has been an elite bench player and an average starter. He is not and will never be a super star. Thats not his ceiling. Tell me if someone offered Luka, Greek Freak, the Process,...wth.. lets drop down some tiers... PG13, Scotie Barnes, Bridges, the Rox saying no?
So if Jalen Green is all that like u say wtf would we trade him? This dude on crack.
I didn't say the Rockets should trade Green once lol
@@UtilitySports no u didn’t u just suggested it. All but 1 was a decent trade. I’m hoping da Rockets ain’t that stupid to do a trade like that.
@@deedav6649he didn’t suggest it. He says he personally wouldn’t do any of these, but these are the current rumors of the nba rumor mill and he makes content so since this is what’s going around, after stating he would not do these and doesn’t agree with the rumors that they should or would, here are what the trades may look like in this nna trade rumor world with what each of the teams have available to use. He can’t make mock draft everyday and continue to get more views and subs etc to be able to do this and make the content he does agree with the ideas of and he does enjoy.
